We took a holiday getaway overnighter across the state line, booking the room on a weeknight after Christmas and before Newyears, through an outside vendor. Having driven to the hotel, we arrived into a parking lot that was quite full, and after driving around the lot for ten minutes, a space did become available in the back forty! Nearly frozen, we made our way up to the check-in counter to find out that rooms are not available. They are still being cleaned, mind you check-in is 4 pm, and it was almost 6 pm. The employee was searching and calling the cleaning staff then we agreed on a room with an extra bed. The room was clean but I did take photos of all the damage as a precaution, like the knife hole in the wall, smudges/scuffs on the walls, cigarette burn holes in the sheets (a non-smoking room), etc... The lighting at night is pitiful! We enjoyed dinner at the Sports Book with a great server, tasty food, and vast entertainment. Definitely will return for a replay! The next morning scrambling to make the 11 am. check out time, showering, the hotel's provided soap, shampoo, and conditioner are empty! Drenched, I'm forced to scramble out of the shower and locate my travel bag for what I need. Luckily, I had soap and shampoo to get us through. As we packed up and headed to check out, we passed housekeeping, letting them know we were checking out and that the supplies in the shower needed replacing. While my husband handled the details, I stopped to get an iced coffee at the coffee bar. I ordered a vente iced coffee with milk and sugar. It was sluge! I paid $6 for the worst coffee I have ever tasted. Note to self next time bring my own.

In all my 36 years of travel, I have stayed in a range of accommodations, but this was by far one of the most unacceptable experiences I’ve encountered—bad enough that I felt compelled to leave a review. We arrived late on Friday, March 28th around 11:50 PM. The front desk receptionist seemed visibly annoyed from the moment we walked in. The valet attendant, who was apparently the only staff member on duty at that time, was overwhelmed trying to manage both arriving and departing vehicles on his own. While I understand the challenge of being short-staffed, his attitude toward guests could have been far more professional. Upon entering our room, we were shocked to find the shower, toilet, and floors in a filthy condition. There was visible hair left in the shower, and it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned—if at all. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk, only to be met with a dismissive and indifferent response. I was told housekeeping was not available at night, and our room number was simply written on a clipboard. Assuming the issue would be resolved the following day, we were disappointed to return to a room that had not been touched. No effort was made to address the cleanliness or follow up on our complaint. The lack of service and accountability was inexcusable. We are not typically ones to complain, even when it may be warranted, but this experience crossed the line. We had two exhausted toddlers with us after a four-hour drive, or we would have left and found alternate accommodations. Needless to say, we will not be returning—and we strongly advise others to reconsider before booking here.

We were visiting Shreveport during the recent ice storm. We were SHOCKED that the parking and sidewalks were not cleared except right by the front door. When we arrived, we had to park in the furthest handicapped spot from the front door but it was right by a side door. There was a barricade blocking the entrance to the door BUT it had been moved so we went in that door and were stopped and chastised by the security guard who was stationed at the door and told that door was closed (then why station a guard at a closed door?) and told that we had to go outside and walk down the treacherous uncleared sidewalk to the front door. My husband is an amputee with a bad knee and we said no and asked for the floor manager. Instead, the security guard called another security guard on the radio and said there was an uncooperative couple that refused to go back out and go in the front door. The second guard after hearing that one of us was handicapped and the sidewalk wasn't cleared finally let us in. It was the most ridiculous thing for the casino to A) Not make some effort to clear the parking lot and sidewalk, B) close a door and make people walk further on the ice ESPECIALLY when they had enough personnel to station someone at the door, C) to be treated so poorly and D) to not get to speak to some management when we asked but instead be treated like we were criminals. We were coming to eat at Jimmy's and drop A LOT on dinner and it just started off our special dinner (on our anniversary trip) in a very negative way.

The room was great, except for the lack of a microwave. Arrival and getting your things to your room is terrible, especially if you are, as my wife and I are, older and wife as a leg amputee, especially if you're late checking in. Checked in late after calling ahead and letting them know we'd be late check in. Checked in at counter and went to looking for a luggage cart. Went and asked her and was told they weren't available for the night. What? Did the luggage carts clock out at 5:00 or something!? Apparently, only bellhops can push the luggage carts and seems you have to reserve a bell hop or something. So now, as hard as just walking long distances is, I have to make multiple trips carrying heavy luggage to the elevator and down the hall to our room. There's no valet parking like any other respectable casino has, so now gotta go park and walk some more, in the pouring rain. And do it all over again at checkout. When checking in, I asked about keeping our room for the next night also. She said let me check and within 2 seconds she says, nope we're all booked up. I come back after shift changed and the gentleman on Christmas eve morning looked stunned when I told him what she said. He immediately extended my stay with no trouble. The girl working at night on Monday night at midnight on 12/23/24 upon check-in is rude, lazy, and I suspect a bit racist. Until they fix the issue with valet parking and being able to get to your room easier for older people, I won't be staying there again. What time I spent in the casino was great, but the beverage service was slow, even though there wasn't alot of people in there at the late hour I was in there. Probably alot slower when it's full of people. I ended up just going to the bar and buying beer most of the time. The bartender there was great. Wish I would have got his name to give him a shout out. Took care of him with tips and he took care of me too. If they would just get the issue of getting your luggage to the room better, just make the luggage carts available for guests whether bell hops are there or not would solve the problem, and have valet service 24 hrs like most casinos do, and I'd really...

So our 4 night vacation started off bad. They put us in a broken room 1008, electrical outlet hanging out of wall with exposed wires, fridge did not work, ceiling fan broken, phone headset broken, coffee maker broken, shower handle fell off and ac unit had high pitched squeal. Then we asked to be moved, they sent up a very rude maintenance person, who wanted to fix it while we were in the room and told us they won't move our room. Finally after talking to manager they gave us a new room 3 doors down, wouldn't you know it, they took the broken coffee maker and changed it with that room we were moved to, so we had to get the good one back. Ther electrical outlet behind nightstand hanging out(just ignored that) in the new room. No compensation offered all. The rooms either has mold or something allergens every morning wake up sneezing and stuffy, after a few hours from room it would clear up. BRING YOUR OWN TOILETRIES!! They have used soaps and shampoos in large bottles that are gooped up a d could be tampered with toilet paper is sandpaper. Over chlorinated water will leaves skin red and burning. Decided to go to gym, our keys never worked, hotel desk said they should and didn't offer to validate. OK let's use the hot tub, ice cold!!! and no controls and dirty. Only have free valet on weekends, trying to get car keys took an hour ask front desk had to wait for security. The front driveway was being repainted. The outside hotel can use a powerwash with all the spiderweb and bugs stuck to walls. Ordered a club sandwich and they burnt the cursaunt. Rest of food eh just ok Half the casino was being remodeled, could not play all games, high roller slots room closed for some reason. Room service was closed, this being a Vegas owned casino payouts were very limited if any, always better payouts at indian owned casinos. The atmosphere on the casino floor was fun, casino workers, and cleaning staff friendly. Don't think we will return due to the issues we had from the first few hours. 2 stars was based on hotel staff and management. Casino was fun. FYI kiosk machine round down so take your tickets to...

Wow. This place has went downhill. Everything from the staff to the establishment. We were very disappointed. Every year we stopped through here on our way to vacation and on our way back as welland spend tons of money. Booked our reservation for six and was guaranteed a two Queen suite with a balcony view as usual. When arriving to the property early around 4:30 in the afternoon after confirming the room we were told our room would not be available for at least the next hour and a half to 2 hours. 3 1/2 hours later when finally walking into our room there were only two beds in no balcony. Knowing there's no way this room could accommodate us all we went back down to the office to let them know about the mix-up. The staff sat there after previously confirming our room was the one we reserved blatantly lied to our faces and said they're not allowed to book the specific room that we reserved . On top of that moved us to an even smaller one king room. After the third time going down to the office explaining the situation politely the staff treated us as if we were the ones that did something wrong. After 45 minutes of arguing back and forth over the situation I decided to go to the VIP office and talk to a gentleman there about the situation. They were not accommodating either but when it was all said and done they finally offered us the room that we were originally comped at a ridiculous amount. Over 500 bucks a night on a Wednesday. Knowing that we had nowhere else to go and had to take the deal. Finally getting to the proper room after having to pay even more for our stay the room wasn't even cleaned. They were dirty underwear beside the bed trash out in the bins and on the floor and stunk like sour milk. Needless to say we will never be coming back here again unless compensated for such a horrible experience. It was one of the most embarrassing things we've ever witnessed at this establishment. Oh we were also scheduled to stay on our way back as well and promise the exact same room don't think that's going to happen not even going to chance it fool me once shame on you fool me twice...
