Extremely unsanitary and unacceptable conditions – by Faisal Boutaiban I have been a paying member, and I am appalled by the state of this gym. The equipment is covered in layers of dust, dirt, and even rust, showing a complete lack of cleaning and maintenance. This is not only unprofessional but also a serious health hazard to members. As someone who values hygiene and safety, I find this utterly unacceptable. Photos attached as proof.

Ill be honest here, this gym is not very great, the staff is incredible which adds a lot of value to my rating here, they keep the gym clean and do their best to assist with any questions you may have. The real issue comes to the actual equipment in the gym itself. The Gyms machines are not great no pec dec a bad leg-press and no squat variation machines make it hard to do a good workout. My main suggestion would be to remove some of the cardio equipment and add a preacher curl, and pec dec at the minimum. Beyond that there isn’t much that can be done other than putting in higher quality equipment in for all the existing pieces because the space is cramped and poorly laid out. Personally I believe the gym here in eastie really benefits from being the only option for those who don’t want to go downtown everyday and i hope that there can be improvements made to change this...

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff. Weights and machines is in good condition. They have turf, a sled, and kettlebells. Decent price.

Cons: 7 ellipticals and 7 treadmills, but only 1 stairclimber (stairclimber is always occupied, but there only ever seems to be a max of 3 ellipticals or treadmills ever being used at any given time). Very slow at replacing equipment such as resistance bands. There are 24 lockers in the men’s locker room, but only 12 keys available. Urinal is always out of order. Water filter machine is extremely slow at filling water bottles. Weight area floor mats never stay in position. Ergs don’t have batteries, so tracking your rowing metrics is a very inconvenient process should you take a break for...

When I went to check this place out for the first time I asked at the desk if they had a couple different machines and was told they did; when I actually went back to check the space out I saw that they had none of the machines I was looking for. But I signed up anyway because that wasn't a deal breaker.

Now that I'm actually working out here, I can see how easy it is for the space to get crowded at almost every hour of the day. It doesn't help that many regulars will post up at the limited number of squat racks/benching areas and take up to five minutes between sets. Some of the other machines and equipment are petty worn out.

I'm barely getting my...
