The Best Pho in Boston

Wowzers!!! This place was incredible! We got there 6 minutes after the doors opened, so we were the first customers of the day! Gee-willikers was this place the bomb diggity. I went with the V9. Pad Thai Tofu. Vegetarian friendly and DELICIOUS! Some of the best Pad Thai I have personally ever had! Definitely recommend getting that! MORK went with a steak Pho and had nothing but outstanding things to say about it. He finished it all too! Almost forgot about the amazing vegetarian dumplings we had. They were fried to a crispy crisp of perfection. He recommended we try the vegetarian spring rolls next time because of how much we like the dumplings! I hope to come back here next time us Rainbow Seekers are in town. Check out our latest single on Spotify!! ‘Spinning Out’ -Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers!

Sunday late night dinner review: This place had a lot of potential it seems but so many things went wrong. Parking was extremely annoying to find, it was very hot inside because the AC seemed to not be running that much, nobody was there to seat us for awhile, we didn't receive chopsticks (cmon, we're asians coming to eat pho), we settled for water for our drinks and got kirkland water bottles that we had to pay $1.50 for LOL, our 12 dollar "small" pho bowls were probably one of the smallest I've even from. Other than that... pho was decent I guess? Wouldn't come back here again tho lol Food: 5/10 Vibes: 3/10 Service: 4/10 Value: 4/10

I have always enjoyed this place. I heard there was new owners.. I should had read all the reviews before going there..(I read that I was not the only customer they have done this too ) the service was slow, rudeness and disrespect to my 83 yr old mother... when the bill came I noticed that they over charged me $ 20.00 . When I questioned why; they responded by saying that prices had gone up. I said , the menu you gave me didn't disclose the different prices.. After asking to speak with the owner or manager, I was told "incase I have not gone to the store lately, food cost more! I responded, you should had advised me or you should have not given me a old menu. Instead of rectifying the bill or apologizing for the misunderstanding they made us feel as we were wrong. They tried bullying me and rob me,, That I should pay , get out and never come back.. I called the police! I told them that I was not going to pay and that I was going to report them..They gave me a different bill and then became more disrespectful, threatening to call the police..I told them;don't worry, I already did. Then they threw me and my 83 year old mother out ,CALLED us the "C' word , that we should not go out to restaurants if we don't have money to pay.. We went out and set in the car while we waited for the police to arrive. When they finally arrived they accused me of being the bad guy, they didn't produce the original bill...The police recommended not to come back, to tell all my friends what they did so that's what I'm telling everyone... THEY ARE THEIVES, DISRESPECTFUL TO THEIR CUSTOMERS (YOUNG / OLD)! I will also be contacting the BBB, and the news reporters, salestax office...! TO YOUR RESPONSE: your attitude, rudeness, not disclosing that the prices were not updated yet AND NOT DISCLOSING IT WAS THE ISSUE.! To be told pay and get out .TO SAY,, that's what my boss says to charge , TO SEE YOU, the owner sit and ignore the issue till I spoke to you in spanish, the way your employee saying don't I have anything else better to do, to pay and get out , and to never come back.. TO USE the "C"word to 2 females , one a senior adult ! I refused to pay the 81.00 because YOU SIR, said " incase you have not gone to the store lately, prices have gone up.. YOU SIR, did not give orders to reduce the bill to the menu prices till you heard me on the phone speaking to the 911 operator , That's when I said No, its to late. We will let the police settle the bill. YOU SIR, lied to the police and told them that there was only one bill, that I was the bad guy, the way you paced and stared me down while my mother and I set outside in my car. THAT your employee took pictures of my license plate as if we were the criminals. That you almost physically threw us out and scared my mother. It was her birthday, ! SO SIR, I had more then 81.00 in my pocket to pay.( I showed the police officer that stayed outside your business. YOU SIR, created a very unpleasant situation.. MY family and myself were regular customer, for years to the previous owner ; that I choose to not go to Orient heights and eat over there instead, was my mistake... No SIR, my complaint was not about money I lost, it was about the way you handled the situation. You're mistake for not training your employee (daughter) properly; taking 5 minutes to adjust the menu prices ( which it looks like it has been more then 6 months, cause other people posted the same complaint) So SIR! Tell your waitress (daughter) the next time , not to tell her customers " it's so sad that you don't have nothing better to do" and to tell customers that the owner is to cheap or lazy to place a sticker and hand write the prices on...

Excellent for authentic Vietnamese pho and Thai Pad Thai noodles. We were leaving Boston and ended up in East Boston to look for lunch as I wanted to be early and close for our flight out of Logan Airport.

I used Google search on the map page and found this gem. I don't know what kind of neighborhood East Boston is but there was plenty of street parking and this place was close.

The noodles were very good (had egg noodles, which they call yellow noodles). The broth was good and it had more than your typical pho broth, which is typically just that, broth. Their broth had lettuce and other vegetables, which I added bean sprouts, jalapeno peppers, and cilantro to. The Pad Thai was excellent as was the chicken dish my wife had. Oh, my wife had hot Vietnamese coffee, which I usually don't get as it's always sweet no matter where you get it; I like it served over ice.

This place was much better and more authentic than several other pho places in the Boston area I had previously been to.

I forgot the name of the owners but they were both there and very nice.

I was very happy here and...

Stopped by from out of town, the kids were craving Pho and this place got good reviews. We were disappointed to say the least. Went in didn't get service for quite some time, when the server finally came we were never offered water or drinks and he didn't clean the table which was dirty from the previous customer. We waited a long time to order, our appetizer never came, the pho came out with no limes and the jalapenos were cut huge. Like one jalapeno cut into 4 large peices. Then we asked for fish sauce because the pho needed it. The staff didn't know what fish sauce is. What kind of vietnamese restaurant doesn't know what fish sauce is? Finally got some limes and fish sauce after explaining to the all non vietnamese staff what it is. Once the Pho was flavored with fish sauce and lime it was acceptable. We can't say anything about the other dishes because they never brought them but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who likes service in...
