SO...I USED to love Habanero and got breakfast, and/or dinner, several days per week—especially appreciated how fresh their ingredients were. I even posted about how much I loved them on my social media pages so my followers wpuld go and support this spot. (Just removed those posts.)
In recent weeks, it's become obvious that they are either trying to cut costs OR have a new cook/manager, especially in the mornings. I've been getting small bits of rotting avocado as opposed to a full and FRESH half, old & hard cheese instead of the formerly soft and delicious farm cheese and their "refried beans" are now, essentially bean water—pick up a forkful and they run right through it.
Once one of my favorite places to eat is now a place I'll no longer get food from. I'm afraid to trust the food, now. (And this morning, even the sour cream tasted spoiled.)
Did they think no one would NOTICE the stark decline in ingredients and food quality??? I left 3-stars bc they USED to be great, so I have hope that they will fix things. If I had tried them for the first time, today, it would've been just 1-star.

I was working at science park train station, I ordered the first time and left clear directions and the direct address for the train station where I work, no one showed, but pretended like they did I got a refund. I was hungry so thought I try it again maybe they would show the second time a Hispanic guy by the name of pollio was even worse kept driving in circles,making excuses, saying its no way to park, said he was at the museum instead of the train station I said well walk across the street he said ok, then started roaming around in his car for the next 30 minutes while i begged him to bring my food, worse part is he lied and said he couldn't find me and completed the order, I never got my food or a refund, he either is to lazy to do his job or too greedy and eats people food while the restaurant takes their money. Read moreI’ve been coming here for years since I moved to Boston, get the Carne Assada almost every time. Usually it’s a great meal with a decent piece of steak etc. Tonight, I was presented with a TINY very FATTY piece of meat which was not at all what I’ve been used to. Additionally I was given a PATHETIC amount of guacamole and salsa. The pupusas/tortillas that usually come with the meal didn’t, and when my wife asked for them, the large and angry woman behind the counter snapped at her that it doesn’t come with those, very very rude. It does. This place treats Spanish speaking/Hispanics customers MUCH different than they treat the white customers, I’ve seen it on several occasions, thought haven’t happened to me until now (usually it is other people working when I visit).
