I went to this salon for the first time with a friend during lunch on a work day. It was pretty slow so we didn't have to wait at all. The staff were all very nice and friendly, place seemed clean. My friend just got a standard manicure, and I got dip powder. I felt like they were over priced considering I can get dip manicures for $35 vs the $50 they charged, but it is the city and I was desperate. The regular manicure went OK, but I don't think they're experienced enough to be doing dip - or acrylics for that matter - really, anything that requires use of the drill. My nails ended up looking good by the end, after a couple of mess-ups, but unfortunately the skin around my nails were butchered by the drill. One finger started bleeding as she was working, which stung terribly anytime she had to do anything. Five other fingers followed suit over the next 24 hours. So now I have cute nails, with ugly scabby skin below them. It's been pretty painful to wash my hands or put them anywhere near heat and at this point I'm just hoping they don't scar. I wouldn't risk going there if you want dip...
Read moreI've been here before. It's nice inside but the service is always rushed. I went today for a full for the first time. The woman cut me on two fingers with the drill or whatever that's called. On another nail she filed so low you can see the actual meat under my nail. Because it's a busy location I felt super rushed and she was doing such a horrible job painting my nails I told her to just stop and take off the color. She felt the need to charge me more because of the shape of my nails, which I didn't agree with since I felt she used less product (but still paid what she asked for) and she still shaped every other nail the wrong way. Worse experience. 3 out of 10 fingers hurt. I'm so disappointed. Even if they are busy, they should still treat paying clients...
Read moreI get pedicures every once in a while. Some of the places around Boston are always in a rush and I've actually been cut or nipped to the point of discomfort. I've been here twice and have had good experiences. $35 for a pedicure and they take their time to do things right. The people are friendly. Would be nice to be able to go in here and not be glared at by some judgey provincial female staring at me like I don't belong there because I'm a male. Hard to believe this is still...
