It is the best place to watch the sunset. At sunset, you can see many people perched on the railings. In mid-May, you can see Harvard graduates posing for photos in their gowns. It is said that it is a tradition for graduates to jump off this bridge, but these days it seems to be forbidden. This bridge leads to the Harvard Business School campus. This is my favorite walking trail in the neighborhood.

Take a peaceful walk over the Charles river on the lovely and historic John Weeks Footbridge. Pause in reflections of life and light of Harvard shimmering across the gentle mirror of night.

Great bridge to walk across on a sunrise or sunset. Really lovely during the spring, fall, and cool summer days. Perfect for people watching or seeing the Harvard crew teams practice. Walked across the bridge daily for two years and really enjoyed the views...

It’s just a better experience in the (warm) spring or summer than in the winter. Everything is scrubby and the wind is absolutely a nightmare. But it’s great in the summertime and I...
