Best bagels in Cambridge! -The bagels are the perfect chewy+soft+crunchy texture, which I haven't found anywhere else in the area. -Flavors: the black/white sesame flavor is fabulous, and their everything bagels have an appropriate amount of salt (in big chunks which you can pick off if you prefer unsalted) -The decor is beautiful. It's small and no longer allows indoor seating, but I'm looking forward to the day the space opens up again. -The staff are very friendly :) -Their chai latte is a surprising stand-out menu item. Perfect for non-coffee drinkers—highly recommend. I'm sure it's been tough to adjust to the circumstances as a small business. However, here are some areas for improvement I've noticed: -They sell out super fast. I can only get my hands on bagels early on weekends (go before 11am). They're always sold out during my lunch break 1-2pm on weekdays. -Ordering ahead is basically impossible. UberEats pick-up is awful and they don't take orders via phone. I wish they used Toast TakeOut or another more user-friendly platform to at least communicate when they've sold out of flavors/bagels. -They don't offer a vegan cream cheese. However, they do have a good list of dairy-free options like hummus, avocado, and pb&j, which I appreciate.

Amazing bagel toasts and sandwiches. This place has been one of my favorite places to grab breakfast on Sundays. Their bagels are stellar, and the wait times are much shorter than the overhyped Bagelsaurus. I usually go for one of their toasts, and my favorite has been the deviled egg salad toast with the za’atar bagels. Caprese toast and the bacon, egg, and fig sandwich are also great, but the egg salad toppings are perfect complements to the toasted bagels. Even after being toasted, the bagels maintain a nice chewy texture, but I would recommend eating them right away as the moisture from the toppings can slowly ruin the texture. With a lot of plant decors, the vibe inside the store is also very cozy, and there were usually empty tables available whenever I was there. Nevertheless, I would suggest going early as the store can get quite busy from time to time.

I saw this place online when looking for bagel shops in the area and wanted to try it out. In previous reviews, I saw that it gets busy, so we came here early to beat the Sunday rush! The place was dressed in lots of greenery and plants, which I loved, and it smelt delicious once you stepped out front. I went with a small, iced coffee and the lox on an everything bagel. A simple lox sandwich on a tasty bagel. I also tried the bacon, egg, and fig breakfast sandwich on a garlic and onion bagel. The spicy jalapeño cream cheese paired nicely with the sweet fig and salty bacon bits. My only tweak would be if the egg was not hard boiled and maybe fried instead. Other sandwiches looked appetizing too so I will definitely be back! If you are looking for a cute cozy coffee shop and you are in the Harvard Square area I would check it out!

Thank you for responding. If we had not explained to the manager that we had arrived separately and we're making purchases for different households, then this explanation would be acceptable. Also, the cashier also confirmed with the manager that two bagels could be sold per order when I ask at the registe. This is why I ordered two for my two children. My friend was the only person of color, and the only person treated badly and denied a purchase. This was a very disappointing experience for a customer who normally tells everyone how great your establishment is.

I told a friend about this place and she went to purchase bagles and I went to get a BLT. I decided I also wanted bagels, and they had a limit of two, and that was fine. When my friend went to purchase her two bagels, she was told they were unable to sell them to her because they sold me two and assumed we went to the place together because we were talking. This made no sense. We went to this establishment to place two different orders, and she was denied without reason. The manager started being aggressive and rude along with a gentleman who worked making the sandwiches. They started saying how they didn't have to sell us anything if they didn't want and that is the policy. (So the policy is to make your own rules depending on the person at your counter. IT IS REALLY HARD NOT TO FEEL AND THINK MY FRIEND WAS DENIED BECAUSE...

3rd time wasn’t a charm. I’m more of a Bagelsaurus/Goldilox girl but now that I’m back in the office I was looking for something in the square. I went for the first time about a week ago and loved it so much I went back the next day! Decided to stop in over the weekend and get my partner a bagel since I had been talking it up and honestly didn’t even look at the time. I’m an early riser and was running errands so just decided to stop on the way home. I walked in(the door was open) at 7:57a-I think they open at 8a and it was clear they were not happy about it. I felt bad and asked “are you guys open “ 3 times before someone answered saying we can be in a minute. I honestly felt bad so I said oh sorry I’ll wait outside. I had my podcast going so no biggie. Let’s just say I got home-I live very close- and it seemed like I got yesterday’s bagels or something-it was pretty bad. Not sure if they were upset with me cause I walked in the open door too early or what. The other 2 visits get five stars hence the still positive rating but for me customer service is my number 1 with any business. There are so many options to spend the money you earn-no need to give away at a place you don’t feel welcome. Obviously this is my own very personal opinion and I think the place is obviously still...
