Noodle Barn is the GREATEST restaurant in the history of restaurants! It has the best food ever! If you like Vietnamese food then you should definitely go to Noodle Barn. There is so much food you can order and it's all delicious. And the location is in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
The food there is beyond good you'll want to die with Noodle Barn's food. They have chicken noodle soup, and almost every type of Vietnamese you could ever want! It's magnificent. They have something called bubble tea which is a smoothie with little pearl type things in it and the bubbles are soooo good. Its sweet and the pearls are really neat! The pearls are not much in taste but there a good thing to add in! And now for the noodles. They are almost the best in the world! They have so many different kinds to choose from (they're all made of noodle) and they're all delicious.
The restaurant is in Jamaica Plain on Centre Street and there is a parking lot right outside! This is very convenient because you don't have to worry about parking when you go to Noodle Barn. Also there are lots of places you could go in Jamaica Plain. There are different restaurants there too. If you live in Boston you should probably drive there unless you live close.
The set-up is small but you dont feel cramped into a tight space. This is good because not a lot of people like to be cramped. There is a bar type place and tables all set up. They have booths on one side and normal seating on the other. There are also TVs and music so if you get bored you can watch it. My favorite spot is in the back corner. It is a big round table and fits up to four people. There are other tables like it but I don't really know why I like it. I just kinda do.
Noodle barn is super great. When you walk out you'll want to walk right back in because the food, the setup, and location. Noodle Barn is amazing all together.

Read moreI wouldn't go here if you are vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions. There are a lot of items on the menu marked with a symbol that means they can be made with tofu and vegetables instead of meat, but it's a little misleading because pretty much none of them could be made without fish sauce. Our server then named a few dishes that could be made without fish sauce, so we ordered those. When they arrived, it became clear that the food had not only not been made with fish sauce, but had been made without any sauce or seasoning at all. My fried rice was an oily pile of rice with a few vegetables and tofu that appeared not to have been fried at all and was just soggy and flavorless. I have been to lots of Thai restaurants that are able to make a very palatable version of a handful of dishes with a fish-free sauce, so I know it's possible. But mostly I just wish the waiter had advised us in advance that ordering those dishes without fish sauce meant we were ordering food without any flavor. Had I known, I would have chosen a different restaurant at that point. I talked to the server about my frustration over the food, and I didn't feel at all acknowledged or heard. We also ordered soup that my omnivore husband and kid were going to eat (containing fish sauce) and he said it was like the fish sauce that was left out of the other dishes had all been added to the soup and all he could taste in it was fish sauce. I definitely won't be...
Read moreIt is hard to beat the offering of this restaurant! They have: good food, affordable prices, relaxed atmosphere and great service!
We dinned here twice thus far and will surely return. It is the only place I feel confident to try a new dish without feeling bad about the money (in case I don’t like the dish).
At about $50-60 for 2 entrees, one sake and tip, this restaurant is a gem. I don’t remember much from the more expensive restaurants I’ve dinned at (aside from how high the bill was). Because few places elevate cuisine to the level where a $150 bill for 2 people feels like money well spent.
So, I am happy we found this restaurant because they got the recipe right: you pay a reasonable price for good food and you get loyal...
