Interesting that I am a voice doppleganger of Rob Halford and definitely going back to take voice lessons at Bristol Studios this time with a heavy metal voice coach. I have been to 47 states and Sweden 5 times on a shoestring budget. I have been bored and got out my iphone and was singing along with Judas Priest on Youtube and I would like to see how the voice patterns match. There is more below the surface about my comment and about the irony in history. I think that Rob Halford has the best vocals. I tried singing contemporary but I couldn't put in the nuances as much as I tried/attempted and wanted to. I am authoring middle grade fiction and YA for over 10 years. I hope my writing projects go somewhere. My plan is to stay in Boston for 1.3 years and save $60,000 then relocate to Ohio and get into real estate. My YA novel Sammy Marshall and the Phys Ed Blues chronicles the adventures of a teenage boy from Little Rock Arkansas with a musical gift. While on a visit to Nashville he meets Bell and the duo become interested in helping people in surrounding areas with jerks in the community. They make future plans together, Bell is interested in non-degenerative biology/anti-aging research or age reversal. Bell is visiting cousins in Murfreesburough and l from Memphis. Cooper Smythe is Sammy's best friend a thoughtful genius in a working class family. Sammy picks up and leaves high school quarterback and the scene to pursue work in roofing in Nashville while becoming a myserious singer at the Fort and in the countryside. His future plans are chemical engineering but he wants to work in the trades first and high school seems pointless at this point. My cousin Andrew Migliore who runs the HP Lovecraft Film Festival is going to be in Providence this coming week for the film festival Aug 17-19. Mark Migliore played bass and worked in robotics in Dallas in the 1980s and liked bands like Fish Eye Lens and 13th Floor Elevator. I hope to get on better terms with my family. I think a prolific screenwriter from the 70s/80s/90s is my relation they wrote/produced Married with Children where they used their real name and Forrest Gump. I am feeling so energized and inspired listening to Judas Priest and just want to sing along and match the vocal pattern, see the analysis on screen. I have a relative who would like artist management, they're in Texas. We need to bring back better music. I realized I actually tolerate and like popular music of today so long as it's Euro. I like Elle Ella 'La by Kate Ryan, the video is funny because of the airline Ryanair a discount airline to 150+ destinations in Europe. Cascada. Ace of Base. That's all that comes to mind. I like this name Scotch Tape 6 Pack because it is funny and evocative of having a 6 pack and my cousin in Sacramento is Scotch and his mom worked at the FBI out of high school in the 1940s. I have a very interesting family and in order to approach them I need to emerge as an artist and stop being my own underdog so much. Elon Musk likes being his own underdog. I got into life extension and cryonics early on. There is a song about a carwash on youtube. I have a song about the NSA and the carwash it's kind of lame. Priest has the electric eye in the sky song which is really cool because engineers can actually do that. I was at the Arizona State library and a book described satellite imaging through concrete. I'm only using creative talents to help out with more goals I'd like to pursue. I'd like to be a nerd working on satellite imaging. For that matter I don't. Save me song by halford is on as I write this. Cryonics isn't that hard to figure out, not that many experiments have been done. Out of 3 million biomedical researchers in the world there are fewer than 5 working on freezing people low temperature preservation. I've realized most people are wrong when it comes to so much. I like to take supplements. People tell me you get all your nutrients from foods and they Wonderbread. We have circuits in our brains to create sound actually my friend worked in a lab at UCSF on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs an occupant of the Mason building on Mass. Ave. across from the Berklee College of Music, Bristol Studio's questionable role in the actual music scene was never clear to me (see the pun below). My personal insight (not verifiable) is that this was really another entity (in some form) connected to Scientology. This may have been a cult recruiting arm in the guise of a production studio - it makes perfect sense (hypotheses only, of course). Actual Musicians did not go here, it was unknown, and the finest music college in the world was their landlord. Only the landlord because the school bought the building. This outfit was unaffiliated with any serious musical concern in Boston. Nobody was ever on-sight, either. It was all strange. Then I met Ric and a woman. For me, I knew what was up. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is for the voice lessons. The instructor was great, Brent. He was the bets part of the place. And the only reason for 2 stars. In terms of the actual method, Bristol studio actually made my voice worse. I had never taken lessons before and after 6 months my voice was going hoarse at shows. I took lessons with another instructor who was able to remedy to problem within a month of lessons. I have taken voice lessons for years now with many teachers, so are good some are bad, but Bristol is definitely on the list of the bad one's. As a vocalist, I would avoid it. I have spoken with many teachers and singers that came from Bristol and they all confirmed the same experience I had. I bet their recording programs are pretty good, but I have never taken one so I can't...
