No photos allowed. Beautiful, beautiful mapparium, but the employees' long list of rules and elongated audible presentation is not necessary. It would be really nice if you were able to just walk through on your own. We spent more time listening to the gentleman prep us going into the exhibit and talking about it than actually in the exhibit enjoying it. The audible presentation seems like a time filler and honestly not impressive. It is absolutely beautiful but I don't think I would visit again unless you could walk through at your own pace. The employee that we purchased tickets with was very finicky and didn't want us asking questions. Only photo allowed is included here, a display on the check in wall.

We went to see the Mapparium. It is absolutely fascinating, and has a great story behind it. The tour is short, but we ended up visiting near closing, so had to leave. I want to go back and visit the rest.

The Mapparium is beautiful, and they try and stretch it with a light show. It is about 15 minutes and the guides are nice and knowledgeable

You will start whispering as soon as you walk in. I was met by Rose, she's the only name I recall but everyone was very, very nice and friendly. The front desk staff were helpful, and my tour guide has been there 37 years. He was informative. I was offered a coat check so I could be comfortable. I enjoyed the experience. No one was pushy it was all about what you wanted to ask about. The grounds outside were quiet, saw Frisbee being played, a guitar player, people reading or just hanging out. I...

I am not a Christian Scientist, far from it, but I have always admired Christian Sciene Monitor due to its insistence on journalistic integrity and objectivity. No other media like it, and it is a shame to see its slow demise.

Here you can revisit some of the journalistic greatness of the CSM and go inside the incredible Maparium globe, which in my opinion merits a trip to...
