It is amazing what you will find if you only take the time to stop and look around you. We have lived in southern Nevada for many years now and recently discovered another hidden jewel in Boulder City. After finishing breakfast at the Coffee Shop Café, we decided to stroll over to this shop for a cup of coffee and a pastry. What a fantastic find we made in this cute little shop on the corner of Avenue B and Nevada Way. Inside this shop you will find the Grind, serving coffee, tea, associated other drinks and delectable pastries. There is also an Amazon pick-up box location, a small gift shop and located at the back of the shop is the Club Room bar. But what makes this place so different is the superb atmosphere they have created inside with the unique antiques of days gone by. They have cleverly designed the shop with an assortment of special “nooks & crannies” to sit and enjoy your drink, alone or with friends. The staff members are wonderful, cheerful and made us feel welcomed. There is some free street side parking with additional free parking to the rear of the shop. As we strolled around the store we met the owner and he told us some stories about the store and some items that have procured. Everyone was just really friendly. We never felt rushed at all. There are couches and small table arrangements for you to sit at to just chill and relax.
My highlight was that 1928 Desoto. You don't get to see one of those everyday and truly not up close and personal.
Would thoroughly recommend - pricing is reasonable. And it adds to the Downtown Flair of...
Read moreCoffee is worth the wait. Been coming to this place for over 3 years now. So that should say a lot. But Sundays are now part of the open mic community and with that said. Here is my input. The atmosphere is one in a million, with all that there is to look at and enjoy a cup of coffee this place is top notch, and with the new speakeasy the setting is even better. With excellent service. With the exception on speed of the coffee. Which I have come to love. The coffee is made and is definitely not your 5min Starbucks quality but much more worth the wait. The reason I even bring it up is because, it's the only complaint I have ever heard about this place. But with that said it's usually from the younger generation. This is definitely a pleasure to visit and see what they...
