What a lovely addition to Boulder City's numerous eateries. It's charming, spacious, bright and soooo many smiley faces. The Hostess: Hannah is a charmer. Hostess/Food Runner: Kaydence is top-notch. Bright and observant. She announced my meal upon it's arrival. Busboys: Johnathan and Ethan are wonderful. They're both sooo observant and NEVER-EVER stop cleaning or wiping things down!!! They both ensured I had plenty of water/coffee and each young man, kept their eyes on ALL the tables!!! My "only" negative was my Server. No eye contact. Never asked me how my breakfast was. Never asked about anything actually🤯. (She even took 10 minutes to her to the table and greet me. She had only 2 other tables??) (And I still tipped her $5.00/bucks😉.) I met the owners: Cliff and Elizabeth. Each of them has a sincere love for the quality of food and for their clients. Cliff actually took a moment and say down with me and listened to my sincere concerns about my "lacking" Server. The presentation of plates is lovely. Prices are extremely reasonable. Tastes are mouth-watering. I took home a piece of their "Homemade-COFFEE CAKE!!" Wow!!!🧁🧁 There is the perfect amount of cinnamon and crumb topping. The salted-butter just adds to the magic!!! You must go!! And the coffee was very nice too!!!

A Perfect Start to Our Grand Canyon Adventure at Restaurant 1933 After touching down early in Las Vegas and heading toward the Grand Canyon, we made a quick stop at Restaurant 1933 in the historic Boulder Dam Hotel for breakfast—and wow, what a find! This place was the perfect beginning to our day, blending classic charm with unforgettable flavors. The scrambled eggs were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and clearly crafted with skill. And the sausage? It was everything you want in a breakfast sausage—perfectly browned with a juicy, savory flavor that made each bite better than the last. The hashbrowns were wonderfully crisp on the outside and tender inside, seasoned just right. Rounding it all out was a golden, buttery toast that brought it all together. Restaurant 1933 isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience steeped in history and charm, with flavors that will have you planning your return visit. If you're anywhere near Boulder City, this spot is a must! Highly recommended, and absolutely deserving of five stars!

While a delicious breakfast is something you could always get here, the addition of a really good steak house is something that Boulder City has been needing for a while and 1933 delivers! The newly remodeled restaurant is now very elegant and offers a truly sophisticated dining experience and one that you'd expect to find in a charming historic hotel like the Boulder Dam. Both my wife and I started off our evening with a very tasty Cleveland's Old Fashion and then enjoyed their 8oz Filet Mignon for dinner. Of course, their steaks are served ala carte and so we rounded it off with dinner salad, garlic sauteed creminis and awesome truffle mac and cheese. And I should note that the later two are big enough portions to share. Last but not least, we finished off our meal with a wonderful creme brule topped with strawberries and blueberries. I can honestly say that I look forward to coming back again to sample more of the delicious dishes they have to offer.

We have been to the restaurant at the dam hotel every year for several years the morning of art in the park. We always get there early knowing the restaurant gets busy. Every year there is only one server and they get overwhelmed quickly. We weren't going to try again this year but decided there was a new owner and surely it would be a better experience.... we were first in line (party of 7.) Everyone was seated at the same time, which is fine but the server took all the smaller group drink orders and served their drinks before getting our order, then when my 10 year old took more than 15 seconds to answer what she wanted to drink she tried to walk away. We ordered our drinks she brought the wrong drinks to 2 people in our party. I felt bad for her and thought it's just busy. I asked if we could order our food since we had a one year old as well and she gets fussy when's she's hungry and considering we were first in line I didn't think it was a crazy request. We sat and waited and watched all of the parties that were seated at the same time then 15 and 20 minutes after us were receiving food. Now during this time the server never came to tell us there was any issue or to fill drinks... nothing. We were told our order didn't get put in because the computer was down... but after noticing all the other tables had food why wouldn't you see that our order didn't get put in and come say something? It seemed intentional because I has asked her to take our order first and she didn't like that. There were 5 other tables all with 4 or less ppl seated at the same time as us. Now all of that we get our food and it's not hot... some of it was warm but some was cold. The server did take half off of our ticket. We didn't ask for that...we just wanted to be served in a timely manner. Owner did walk in while my FIL was asking the server wth was happening. She didn't acknowledge...

Before discussing food, let me say that this Hotel would be my first choice next time I visit the area. And for anyone visiting Hoover Dam, the museum in this hotel is a must! We were told it was even better than the museum at the dam itself; especially since the dam museum is closed for the season. The restaurant certainly looked nice and my wife and I made a reservation after visiting the outstanding museum. I ordered the Meatball Sliders as an appetizer which turned out to be three medium sized "burgers", a meal in itself. Bit into the first one and almost spit it out; it was just a nasty tasting mess like meat that had been kept too warm for many hours. The marinara sauce tastes like something out of a cheap bottle. Oh well. Next came the ordered Prime Rib French Dip. What would you expect? A modest piece of prime rib in a bun, right? Instead it was equally crappy chipped beef, dried out and again tasting like it had been cooked hours ago and kept too hot every since. Since it was dinner, I took two bites but could not go on. Ok, so not prime rib, but I have had French Dip in dozens or restaurants, including greasy spoons, and this was by far the worst I ever encountered. My wife had the 8oz Atlantic Salmon, which was acceptable, but when I tasted it, it was also overcooked. I chose not to complain to the waitress, but she also did not say anything when she cleared table and it was obvious I had taken exactly 3 bites out of two large dishes; hence I dinged...
