Never shopping here again. Straight scam and rip off. Allow me to explain.

Repeat customer here by the way. Used to love this place.

Went In, asked if they have a PS2. They tell me they do. I asked if it works and they tell me “yes, but things can happen to the internal components over time. Even with slight movement.” At first I am thinking “Okay cool it works, whatever.” But then I’m skeptical. I politely ask “Would you be able to test it first? I just wanna make sure it works.” The employee tells me then that they are sure it does. He was very polite but he really wasn’t showing me he was for sure with his body language.

We make the sale of over $100 and he hands me the wrapped ps2 console and a plastic bag of what I assumed were the proper accessories to power the console. I go home and check it out.

I check the bag. I find an aftermarket cracked controller, a Nintendo 64 AV Cable, and a gross power supply. I had an old PS2 AV cable luckily and plugged it in, only to find that the damn thing can’t read any discs. Tried 3 different games and a couple DVDs.. Nothing.

So of course I take it all back, only to find they can’t refund me cash, only in store credit. I took the credit, bought an Xbox 360 with some games and left. They did make sure everything was solid with that console, but it was definitely overpriced and let’s be honest if I tried to sell it back, they’d probably give 15 bucks.

Glad they corrected, but it was only after a really bad experience. Not shopping here again. Saw all I needed to see after the last couple times visiting. Like I said used to love this place but it’s really gone down hill.

This place is mind blowing. They have a HUGE selection of used DVD's, Bluray, games, gaming consoles and gaming accessories.

DVD MOVIES: Thousands of titles to choose from, everything from black and white classics to the recent movies of today, including boxed sets. All purchases have been high quality. There have been no issues of any kind, no scratches or defects. All packaging in fair to excellent condition. They have great sales on DVD's and boxed sets as well. You can walk out with a bag full of movies for twenty bucks.

GAMING: They have everything you'll ever need. Their consoles start with the original Atari and go to present day, including replacement cords and connectors. They have tons and tons of games and accessories for each. All are in great condition.

OTHER: They carry gaming related collectible figures and fitbits to name a few.

The customer service here is outstanding. Christian, who is my favorite, knows everything about every superhero movie and the order in which to watch. I'm into Marvel Universe and he has helped me obtain all the movies in the series for my collection. I generally always work with him when I go in because we have built a professional repore. We give each other advice on cool movies to watch since I'm older and have watched a zillion movies over the years. He's very easy to work with. Other employees are just as helpful though. They buy your stuff as well if you set up an account with them. There's in store credit, much higher, and straight money sale.

Not very impressed by buying things that don't work. I would think things would be at least tested before put on the shelf or in the glass case. Bought an Xbox one controller that has drifting analog sticks and the aux port doesn't even work. Before I used to be able to go here and have a good conversation about games, unlike GameStop where it's like a bunch of robots run the store. But unfortunately one or two bad apples can indeed spoil the bunch. Now after another bad experience I go in not knowing what I am looking for and ended up getting a 360 with a couple games. Welp my controller isn't battery compatible only has the recharge pack that's actually broke. One of the bumpers is broke. The wrapping of my console was horrifing. Plus a game I bought said 9.95 and on my receipt it says 12.99 so I go in because the game isn't compatible with the 360 and I get offered to get 10 bucks worth like what! Like I'm literally done with this place. Place is no better than GameStop. Like I said before a video game business should consist of true gamers not product pushing to good to be true practices. And the funny part they don't refund you with your money it's in store credit, so basically it's low key robbing someone so they can force you to keep buying from them.
