The place was so festive with Valentines Day decor. But its a cute place, regardless. Very ideal place for first date.
We were greeted with the brightest sign ever, upon entry. And that just does something for your mood, gets you excited- makes your stomach even more hungry. However. We were also. Seated immediatley. No wait. And when we sat down and ate the tortilla chips, I could have ordered those, and been happy. They are made in house, there's no way they'd be that airy and fresh, otherwise. They were absolutley delicious. I am typically a creature of habit, but don't you know, I was out of town. I wanted to get something I couldn't at home. And I for sure could not get the California Burrito at home. It's a loaded cheeseburger in a burrito. But wait. Add the fries. That's right, that's right. I said add the fries. It's amazing. It's insanely big. And I would have eaten it all, but I probably would have felt a little judged. But then the small bit that I did leave. I was probably judged for not eating the rest of it. Lol!!! Goodness, me, this place was amazing. The service was a little on the slow side. I sat a little too long for my bill. Paid cash to not have to wait for my card. But it was valentines day and the food was so good. You take the good with the bad. And the good was just, too good.
Highly...
Read moreI am updating my review to say that the dish is Quesabirria, and I am now addicted. I've been back a couple of times since my review was first posted, and the food has always been great, in my opinion!
I'm not sure how long they have been open at this location, but we went to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. This is a great spot to have a birthday party because they played some hype music and did a flight of shots for the birthday people!
As we came in, a few guys had some gripes about food wait times and said they didn't really like the food. But I experienced great service and absolutely fantastic food. I forgot what the dish was called, but I had some taco that is shredded beef that you dip in beef consumé. Hands down, best hispanic dish I've ever had. We also had the guacamole (fresh made) and salsa with chips. I really like their chips here. They're thicker than other restaurants and tasted like they were handmade. The salsa I really liked too, because it had a distinct garlic flavor. It didn't taste like traditional salsa at all, which I liked because I don't usually eat traditional salsa. I liked the guacamole too, but it didn't have as much lime and cilantro as at other places.
I can't wait to go back and get those beef...
Read moreWe waited a few weeks before we tried this place out in hopes they would work out the new restaurant kinks- however, they were really struggling. You could tell the employees didn’t really know what they were supposed to do or what anyone else was doing. Several guest including ourselves waited too long to be seated and employees just stared at us not knowing if they should seat us or someone else. Then when we were finally approached the lady asked us to just pick a table- if that’s the case don’t have a sign that says “wait to be seated”. After we sat down we waited a long time before anyone asked us a drink order. The servers didn’t seem to have assigned sections to know who should be serving which table. Employees were frustrated at one another and there seems to be major lack of management and communication between employees. After we got our order in we had a fairly long wait again for our food. Food was good- fresh and great flavor- however it wasn’t so good I’m willing to receive the bad service just for the food. Once they correct the service it’ll be worth it but right now they have a lot of fixing to do. Atmosphere- looks a Little cheap inside and music was...
