So it turns out I wrote a review for this location seven years ago, and it was a little lackluster and impersonal.
Osvaldo, my guy. It’s time to round up all the staff so they can get some pointers. I’m really big on Service like I really watch my engagement with my waiter or waitress and I’m not gonna lie man sometimes attitude just completely ruined it for me, but this is not one of those times! I made a joke about being honest with Ozzy telling him that as long as he keeps those biscuits coming, I was going to take care of him and he said that he had been having trouble getting a review or something along those lines so I told him without a doubt that I would take care of him not only on the tip side, but the review side. Not being from the Hospitality industry one thing I do know is that if you can read people, it doesn’t matter if you work at a Waffle House or Ruth’s Chris, you can make some money. Ozzy was exceptional making sure that we never needed anything. We had our daughter there with us and she was a little chatty Cathy and he was just really patient and light with her. From making sure that we have everything we need to getting us some fresh biscuits to go to even getting us drinks to go, this man is a seasoned veteran in the hospitality game, which is wild because he’s the fountain of youth. I gotta spit that real real though, red lobster‘s prices are pretty expensive. So much so that I got a dish tonight that I normally wouldn’t get, but it works out because it was really good. Just everything was wonderful from the ambience to the service to the little bit of laughter we exchanged. Did I mention the biscuits? So good because this is America. Red lobster biscuits is a whole vibe. Osvaldo, my man. Tremendous job taking care of us tonight and you know these Red Lobster points just tipped us over into the reward spectrum so we’ll be back soon.
My wife and daughter were up by the lobster tank when Ricky, who had the presence of a manager, asked if our daughter wanted to pet and see a lobster up close. And she was just so excited for that. Just a really great experience tonight. Hats off to the team. Even the hostess Rebecca was all smiles when we came in because you know we're superstars. 😤👌 Alexa, play superstar by Lupe...
Read moreFather's Day! After an afternoon of riding our motorcycles. We walked in to a nice hostess. She got our name and number of guests in our party. We were told it was 20 minute wait. We sat in the waiting area patiently. After 10 minutes we were seated. Our waitress after a few minutes come to our table and ask for our drink order. She was short with us and did not introduce herself. After several minutes she arrived with our drinks and wanted our order. We had only been there once or twice in the past and ask her what the specials. She was not patient she threw a small clipboard down and she that was the summer specials and then she took the menu out of my husbands hand and showed him another menu. It was as if she didn't want to wait on us at all. I even told my husband and father-in-law that she seemed like she didn't like us. Shortly after we placed our orders she brought us our side salads and soup. 30 minutes later she came by refill our drinks. She then returned to tell us that a manager would be by to talk to us that she forgot to submit our orders and they were going to try to put a rush on it. She did not appologize. During our 1 hour stay there she refilled our drinks once and rolls once. After 10 minutes of waiting with no entree and no manager visit. We got up and walked out! This nameless waitress (tall, heavy, black) gave the impression that she didn't like us. I seen her wait on others, she smiled, she was nice, and she brought their orders promptly. She seemed to judge us on our leather vest. She didn't see us sit down, had she she would have seen that we are a Christian outdoors group. Never-the-less she she not have treated us the way she did or any other group of leather wearing bikers (Christian or otherwise). WE will not be returning to this establishment! After leaving this place I became in 30 minutes I became violently ill. I am not sure what...
Read moreThe manager and servers own words, tonight is a disaster.
6:09 join waitlist for a table, get text at 6:37 it's ready, Saturday night wait not totally unexpected. Hostess sat us promptly and was very friendly, server got drink order, dropped them along with biscuits, and took our order in a reasonable amount of time. Coleslaw I had ordered as a side arrived by itself around 7:00, drinks were replenished several times we began noticing a lot of fidgety people with no food about then and became fidgety ourselves at 730, server reassured us our food was coming soon.
It slowly trickled out... Careful hot plates! But... A cold Captains Platter, A Siriloin and Shrimp ordered well done that came as less than medium, trees for upgrade price asparagus and missing broccoli. Steak went back fresh biscuits were brought a frazzled manager that had the look of a man that had been comping all night arrived, apologized and gave us $10 off our dinner. Broccoli arrived about 10 minutes later freshly boiled or microwaved with no seasoning. Server popped back around promised steak was coming and offered to comp a dessert. Steak arrived back at close to 8:00, we asked for a box and the dessert to go since we were done eating and needed to be getting home to see why the kids were being strangely silent and not sending us a thousand text messages 🤔
I really didn't like the little table top kiosk that the hostess and server kept pushing us to use, it looked grimey from a thousand kids snot covered hands playing the pay games on it and I honestly just didn't want to touch it.
I probably wouldn't have even gone here had I not received a gift card for Christmas that I thought I would use to cheap out on date night with 😁 and it's unlikely I will take a chance again on them being in full on melt down mode but I do give props to the server for trying to smile and be positive the whole...
