First off, I recognize this is a newly built and opened restaurant, so I will update my review when I go back in a couple months. Also, I have eaten at other Panda Express locations many times in the past.
I ordered online, because the place was packed and I had two hungry kids with me that I didn’t want to stand in line with for 20 minutes. The online ordering process (Apple AppStore app) really needs some streamlining. The login screen for some reason was not recognizing that the password doesn’t go on the user ID line. Also, the signup code I got for installing the app didn’t work, and I was excited for some free orange chicken. My excitement quickly ebbed.
Having ordered online, received the “it’s ready” email, and giving them another few minutes to make sure, I walked in to the store 7 minutes after getting the email. I could hardly get inside because of the line, and I thought it was a good thing. They looked to have a double or triple staff behind the counter, and I thought it was a good thing. Then I got to the “pick up online orders here” spot. I stool there while three customers were each helped by two cashiers at the same time before someone said hello and asked if they could help me. I pointed to the sign, said I ordered online, and gave my name. Then I gave my name two more time when she asked. That person then disappeared. I pulled up the email on my phone so I’d have the order number ready if I was asked for my name again. Several minutes later, another employee asked what I needed, and I repeated my story, and repeated my name two more times. Then he disappeared. Approximately 10 minutes after coming in, I found out my to-go order was apparently made, handed to the wrong customer, remade again by each of the two employees, and I was finally handed my food. On to the next part.
I took my food and my kids home, and dished it up. Broccoli beef - wow. It was straight up slimy, not saucy, like if corn starch didn’t get hot enough. There wasn’t much flavor. Teriyaki chicken - actually pretty good. Orange chicken - yuck. Tasted like it was soaked in rice vinegar. Chow mein - meh. Undercooked, low in flavor, but my youngest was happy with it. Fried rice - low flavor, added some soy sauce, not too bad. Cream cheese rangoon - as expected, basic and tasty.
If the place was empty or if the store had been open longer, this would have been a one-star review. I’m certainly in no hurry to go back there, but, as I said, I’ll update the...
Read moreI always get great service and fresh, excellent food at Panda express in many locations so its very hard to impress me at one. Im just so used to the superb service. This Panda was definitely the exception. I arrived just as they opened after a 12 hour drive and was starving. I ordered a plate with white rice, kung pao, and beef w broccoli. The white rice and kung pao were not quite ready but that's where the "above and beyond" came from. The crew worked quickly to get the entree I wanted prepared. I arrived about 10:15 and witnessed the employees again going that extra mile to ensure the store was spotless. I even saw them cleaning the parking lot, and one young man cleaning under the soda machines and behind the trash cans. Both of the young ladies that worked the food line were polite and you could tell they loved their jobs. The young man behind the counter in a black shirt cooking was making my wait so much more pleasant (while he was busy cooking). They made me feel like more then just another customer, they made me feel like a friend. Keep winning...

I was told you can read the board then ya know what to do. Sooo that started out bad and got worse from there. He got my bowl and asked hateful well do you want rice or chow main? I said come main I guess, then he looked at me and sit my bowl down and and asked our friend what you want. Come back and said what else I got sweet and sour chicken. I wanted something else and he said go to cashier, the friend got his and they put them together without asking and then got upset when we said they separate. My hubby was behind him, they didn't wait on him, instead 6 waited on 2 of their friends never even asked my hubby what he wanted. He come to cashier and told me to eat he couldn't get waited on and he went to the car. The food was not good it was cold, the noodles was hard the chicken was hard and cold.
