I love this downtown area. Good selection of restaurants and bars. The yard house here in my opinion is one of the best ones that I've been to. I also like the one in downtown Long Beach and also in Riverside and Costa mesa. They also have a parking structure behind taps which is free parking which is good. Normally in some places like downtown Huntington Beach you have to pay but down here you don't. I suggest if you're going to hang out here on a Friday or Saturday night to start your evening early so you can get a parking spot in that structure. My next stop is going to be the copper blues bar which plays live bands. Walk by this place and its is totally cool! I'm on it next time I'm down there. Read moreBrea Downtown has quite a few restaurants, stores and eaterys. There are 2 Edwards theaters, a Ralphs, Rite Aid and a HomeGoods, LOFT. As for food, there is a lot. There is a Five Guys, Taco Bell, 2 Starbucks, Panda Express, Corner Bakery, Blaze Pizza, Taps Fish House, Bdubs, Yard House, Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ, Bruxie, Cha CHa's, Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour, Fresca Mexican Grill, Flame Brouler, Elbows Mac-n-Cheese, etc. Finally, there is the Brea Improv. This place used to have horrible parking but now that a brand new parking structure has opened, that's no longer an issue. There use to be an Old Navy but that shut down. Now, the Improve will be moving to that much larger location. There is also the old Tower Records which has been closed for years. There is word that a new hotel might move into...
Read moreBrea downtown is a nice little area to eat, take a light stroll, and do a fun activity. The holiday decor right now is lovely with a lot of great spot/displays which are perfect family, friends, or couples holiday photos. And selfies of course.
My favorite restaurant there is Bruno's Italian Kitchen. Then next-door (if I'm not mistaken, could be two doors down) is a little dessert bakery where I've recently tried their red velvet cupcake which was tasty! There is also two places in this strip where you can paint canvases or pottery. There's also a Bath & Body Works.
I like the mix of store types in this strip. Definitely...
