시애틀 에서 워싱턴 주 브레머튼으로 가는 페리 에서 내리면 왼쪽에 부두 입구 근처에 이상한 광경이 보일 것입니다. 퓨젯사운드 해군 조선소 입구 옆 지면에서 비행기 모양의 날개가 달린 커다란 검은색 형상이 솟아오른다.

사실 이것은 미국  역사상 가장 장식이 잘된 선박이라고 하는 USS Parche 의 마지막 남은 조각입니다 . 나비고기의 이름을 따서 명명된 두 척의 미해군 중 하나입니다. 이 배는 30년 동안 수많은 임무를 수행했으며, 그 중 많은 임무가 비밀리에 수행되었으며 여전히 기밀로 간주됩니다.

스터 전급 핵잠수함인 Parche 는 1973년 1월 13일에 진수되었습니다. 수년간의 운용 기간 동안 9개의 대통령 부대 표창, 10개의 해군 부대 표창, 15개의 해군 전투 "E" 표창 및 13개의 해군 원정대 표창을 수상했습니다. 메달.
