I love the shops that surround this Ferry Landing. There is also historical status and plaques telling the fish story of the area. Within easy walking distances there's a full scale movie & theatrical venue, a "Quarters Arcade", amazing restaurants and eateries, a bar that has a personality all it's own, and plenty of places with ice cream! Oh. I don't want to forget to mention a very inviting wading pond with fountains and submarine art for those days you just need to enjoy a 'cool-down' dip! Off to the North is a park just past the bridge to Manette, and if a seafood or steak or vegetarian salad is your preference, overlooking the water is The Boathouse where food and service are at its finest also! Yesterday I enjoyed a tequila-lime-cilantro 2-skewer large prawn dish over a bed of divinely prepared green beans and rice pilaf, all exquisitely prepared! Other dishes we enjoyed were aa plaster of 12 oysters, stuffed mushrooms, salad with blackened salmon & blue-cheese crumbles (was originally on the menu as blackened and blue steak dish but they didn't mind the protein swap!), and a perfectly done grilled cheese plate for our picky eater adolescent! Of course there was some wine and IPA for others at the table but for me plenty of non-alcoholic drink choices. But if not, there is a spot just a you enter Manette crossing the bridge called "Vim and Vigor" that is all about just that; specializing in drinks for the palettes of my peeps who prefer not to partake of the alcohol side-effects! No matter your whim, this is a great place to visit for a day!

What's not to love! Set on the Bremerton waterfront the view is like no other. The ferries coming and going, the beautiful lights off the water at night. Inside the Kitsap Conference center a warm setting where the view of the waterfront and boardwalk are spectacular. The staff is very highly trained and there to make your event all you dreamed of and more. The chefs there really know how to cook and present some delicious food! I highly suggest checking them out for any kind of event from a business meeting to a beautiful wedding.

I always enjoy the Kitsap Conference Center. It's staff are friendly, the venue overlooks the water, the food/drinks very nice and the openness of the space very inviting.

Ten out of, well, five. Great place that didn't even mention when last year I covered myself in whipped cream and asked for hugs outside. But enough about them, let's talk about what made me cover myself in whipped cream, the amazing thing known as GISHWHES. I would also give GISHWHES a ten out of five, a fun and quirky experience that makes my year a lot brighter. There is a chance that soon I might be standing outside this very same conference center asking for people to pay me for hugs, something that I would never, ever, do in my everyday life, but here I am, thinking about it and how much I can charge for one of my...

I helped plan a work event here for about 60 people and I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone. The location is fabulous, the food was good and there were PLENTY of options to fit any need. Most of all though, their staff was incredibly helpful while planning and then day-of, my team didn’t have to worry about anything venue related. The staff really helped make it a seamless event. Accommodating and considerate of food allergies, and just provided wonderful hospitality all around. If you get the chance, you should...
