Several times I have visited this coffee shop, Fraiche Cup. The location is convenient when I pick my husband up from the ferry boat. This shop offers a variety of items to choose from aside from their coffee's and teas; they have sandwiches, often some form of fruit and plenty of desserts. And if your not a Starbucks follower or fan then Fraiche Cup is the only other immediate coffee shop. The coffee they offer I wouldn't classify as being excellent, more like decent, I haven't tried any of the food yet. The Fraiche Cup also hosts an area where local artist can sell handmade items; which can be a win-win for tourist. I honestly couldn't tell you the look it was going for if any. The tables and chairs are lacking some comfort and appear to be somewhat worn, but as I stated earlier, I'm uncertain if there was a unique decor they were trying to achieve or possibly not. The servers I have chatted with over the last few years have always been pleasant and always friendly; I have never had a bad experience with any of them, and they seem this way to all of their customers. The owner (at least I think he is the owner) more standoffish. The dining area and the restroom appear clean — the dining area I have never seen dirty tables or a messy counter or floor. I have witnessed Fraiche Cup on slow days, but I have also stood in line for 15 minutes waiting for my turn. Summer proves to be a hectic time for this coffee shop, and not everyone is a Starbucks fan. Parking is a considerable challenge most of the time. Most of the parking is street parking, which is normally taken or paid parking next block over, which is usually full. The one exception is Kitsap Credit Union parking garage; I am not familiar with the parking rules since it is adjacent to the credit union it may be just for their employees, I don't know for sure. Parking becomes much worse in the late Spring and Summertime when you throw tourist in the mix; now there is construction going on in the immediate area as well. Overall, I'll continue to visit Fraiche Cup now and again; I like being able to support a local business and I urge everyone else to support a local...
Read moreI love their coffee so much and I know this is my fault but I work long hours and get a little sleep deprived sometimes.
It makes such a huge difference whether you're the kind of establishment that asks about the milk or not if I didn't specify.
Just a quick "And that was whole milk?" would make a world of difference for me.
I'm not lactose intolerant, I'm allergic to dairy and I genuinely forget some people still drink cow milk sometimes!
When there's no one in line and I've ordered from the same barista three times and asked for oatmilk each time I expect at least for them to question it and not rush the ordering process when there are two people in the entire shop.
I work 6 days this week and 6 days next week, now my Friday night was spent feeling like I have strep throat and vomiting and my Saturday will be the same but I'll be at work too.
Mind you I took two sips of the drink with whole milk and dumped it after I noticed what it was.
Two sips, and all it would've taken was a quick confirmation and the barista to be a little more considerate and my already horrible week would be a little...
Read moreUpdate 6/2025 I really love this little coffee/ cafe. Super clean bathrooms. My grandma used to say clean bathroom clean kitchen. I had the yummiest lemon bar with my latte. Mom had a mixed berry bar that had crumble with her tea. My brother enjoyed the amazing breakfast burrito. My sister had a sandwich that she said the sourdough bread was fantastic. They even had a nondairy option for my niece. I found an apron I can't wait to give my daughter. Support this wonderful local business. The owners are kind and friendly and running a top-notch little place.
Best little mom and pop shop. Loved this coffee shop. Lots of yummy things to choose from. We had breakfast burritos with our coffee. These are premade, homemade burritos and are delicious. The burrito kept me full for a long day at the VA hospital for dad. My latte was great, and dad liked his mocha. Mom got me the tea box that I'm so excited about. I'll take family and friends next time I'm in town and try more of the...
