We decided to take in a movie this afternoon. Avengers Endgame; This movie has been out for a while, so we were hoping for an empty theater, or at least not many people; that certainly wasn't the case, our theater wasn't full but about 3/4 full. Once again I had a difficult time rating this cinema, last time I dealt with sticky floors and the drink holder being sticky, this time the floor was slick and oily, it is obvious someone probably spilled popcorn, and the popcorn was swept up, but the butter part was still there. Again I almost rated a four-star, but there are plenty of great things about the theater, reclining seats for one and the layout of each theatre, as well as many choices of movies to choose from. Seefilms also offers a party room, and a VIP lounge, I haven't seen either one, so I am unable to provide my opinion. They also have a parking garage; there has been a couple of different occasions where the garage was full, and I've seeked parking elsewhere; I can imagine original prime movies and prime hours will leave you searching for available parking. Seefilms lobby has always been clean, and spilled popcorn is swept up right away, and counters are well kept. I have been in the ladies restroom a few time, and I have never witnessed it dirty or messy, however, with all the stalls that this ladies room offers I would think there would be a few more sinks, I believe there are three. Seefilm staff seems friendly, so overall I will rate this a five star in hopes that the staff pays a little more attention to the floors. And here's hoping that everyone understands that you shouldn't go to a theater with a nasty cold; aside from spreading germs to everyone, the persistent blowing and coughing throughout a movie is just rude and gross to the...
Read moreWorse service I think I have ever had. I went out to get popcorn and stood in line for at least a half an hour. We watched them restock everything behind the counter slowly one item at a time. They had 2 workers behind the counter. They would take an order and then leave the register go to fill the order and would be out of something like straws. So the same person would walk to the back room and get like one box of straws and come back then refill the straw container then come back take and the money. They were in no hurry whatsoever even though the line was all backed up. I couldn't have moved that slow if I tried. And so we watched as the same thing happened at least 8-10 times with cups, bags, etc. It was unbelievable. One could have ran back and brought everything from the backroom. One could have taken orders and one could have filled orders. Neither worker smiled at anyone and the girl had a hard time counting change. Someone who seemed to be the manager walked up and put money in the drawer and then proceeded to walk away without even looking up at the people in line. If he had he would have seen the irritated faces although I am not sure it would have mattered. The movie I was seeing ended 5 mins after I got back. It was my first time at the theatre and my last. The woman in front of me said it was her last time too. Sad because it is a nice theatre. If it were my establishment I would be very upset if I saw this. I have not been inclined to write a bad review for years. It takes a lot to upset me. But this...
Read moreTo me, this theater remains THE finest and most well-run theater complex in the county. The staff is clearly dedicated to providing the best customer service around. They and the management have truly created a warm, welcoming environment that feels like family. I had a pair of Happy Birthday movie passes which I used for my son and myself. We used to see Deadpool & Wolverine in 3D. 3D movies come with a slight surcharge. This was a new procedure for Olivia, the cashier, but she quickly adapted. She made us feel valued as customers with her friendly manner and her concern for making sure we got the discounted price we were entitled too.
SEEfilm remains the best place to watch 3D movies in the county. Large screen, large, comfortable chairs, stadium seating, and a world class 3D projection system with surround sound. The auditorium is always clean. And it was the perfect venue to watch Deadpool & Wolverine. It's by far the best of the three films.
After the movie my son talked to Sara, the GM of SEEfilm. He said she was also very nice and enjoyed my son's praise about the family environment of the theaters. He also told he how much he appreciated that the theater hires people with disabilities to help them develop new job skills and to attain work experience.
SEEfilm's a very special place and my family remains grateful that it's here in...
