This is a good theater. Myself and 9yr old daughter went to see Jumanji. We got there just a few minutes late, didn't mind much since we were only missing a few previews but had a hard time finding a parking spot. If you need a CLOSE spot, maybe head over a bit early. There are close handicapped spots though. There was no line due to being late and ticket purchasing was simple, man who have us our tickets was a proper gentleman, very nice and polite. The young woman who took our ticket stubs SEEMED nice, however she was stuffing her face so just pointed to which side our theater was on instead of actually speaking. Went to snack counter for 2slurpee drinks and large popcorn, the young woman there was nice, quick, professional. The popcorn was barley warned and more than HALF the bucket/bowl was all kernels that we couldn't eat. The movie itself was OK, leaned more towards a sappy love comedy than an action comedy. The chairs were comfy HOWEVER, for bigger heavy set people such as myself, there uncomfortable, not wide enough since even after removing the middle armrest the middle seating between the seats is more like a solid divider that is VERY uncomfy to sit on. Also since the chairs are so narrow, my leg kept hitting the recline button which kept moving me from sitting/ laying, laying/sitting WITHOUT me wanting it to, it became so Damn irritating I had to hold my hand over the button the WHOLE movie which wasn't very comfy either. The theater was clean before the movie, but of course, humans are dirty creatures and by the end of the movie it was filthy! Hit the restroom before leaving, was clean. Had a tampon machine on the wall for 25 cents, put in quarter, took quarter but gave no tampon. Went to management who had a female employee come in and give us two tampons. Overall Cleanliness:...
Read moreMy mother, sister and myself visited AMC in Brick on 1/14/19 at 6:45pm. In the theater there was an issue with the heat not being on, so the theater was probably a good 40-50 degrees. None of us really minded and my sister got a blanket out of her car and we all cuddled up. It was only cold for about a half an hour in which I'm sure a few guests must have complained about it. The movie was great and all of us completely forgot about the cold start in the beginning. On our way out we were pleasantly shocked to be greeted by two very nice male employees who whole heartedly apologized and handed everyone in the theater complimentary tickets. I must say that this was the most professional, kind, and intelligent decision that I have seen any company do in a very long time to solve a problem and keep their guests coming back. ALL of the staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling. I applaud the management for the amazing way that they solved this problem in an effective manner. Please AMC recognize your Brick location for how intelligent, professional, and kind they are. I will not use my complimentary ticket at any other AMC location, and will now spend double the amount on snacks in an effort to let the theater gain back any money they may have lost by giving out the complimentary tickets. Brick AMC created many dedicated guests tonight by the way they handled this situation. Thank you Brick AMC for restoring my faith in old fashioned great customer...
Read moreDO NOT COME TO OR SUPPORT THIS THEATER!!! There is a manager who let a family sit in the paid seats of my family and I and gave our seats away to them!! I took my family to see The Meg 2 2:45 showing on 08/12/23 and we had seats B6, B7, and B8. The manager working at the timeframe of 2:50-3:10 when we were there had allowed a family to sit in the seats that we had bought. One individual in the family was aggressive and cursing at us telling us we couldn’t sit in the seats we had bought and when I told the manager the situation politely, I was accused of yelling. My family and I were then told that due to her mistake of giving that family our seats we had bought we would not be allowed to sit in our seats and see the movie. I had a panic attack and was hyperventilating and was given no medical attention, only free tickets for another time and a refund. Unacceptable treatment! Two individuals in the other family were then aggressive and I was worried for my family and I’s safety. There was 100% favoritism in favor of the other family. If you do not want to be a victim of any kind of bias or injustice, do not come to this theater I am warning you, terrible experience!!! I wish I knew who the manager responsible for the issue was but I was in far too much of a panicked state to even ask for her name. I hope she loses her job so no other guest goes through what we...
