Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Brick Township

Worst experience ever!!! The manager was a complete a**! The place was understaffed and it took me 20 mins just to buy the play cards because there was one girl at register and a line for prizes and the cash register so she was going back and forth. The machines kept breaking and no staff on the floor. Both managers ran food most of the time. The ticket machines were neglected and over loaded because no staff to check on them. It tool the manager 20 mins to get to me on the floor at which point i explained that majority of my trip was spent asking for help with a machine or waiting for someone that worked there. Which he replied its not his fault, he was in fact not understaffed and "he can't help that the machines don't work properly he can't predict life, it is what it is." Which is a bad choice phrase when your job is working for the public and a phrase I do not believe. It is what we make it and your in the customer service industry if you hate your job and life that much then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! This was my first time at this Chucky Cheese location. My husband and I planned a fun day with our 2 kids. My 4 year daughter was so excited to go to chucky cheese for the first time. She had seen the commercials on tv for Chucky Cheese and was really looking forward to dancing with Chucky. The food was pretty good and the kids had fun with the games but after being there for a few hours we still had yet to see Chucky come out. We asked the staff several times only to be told he’ll be out soon. At one point one of the girls told me like 5, 10 mins and a half hour later both nothing. Finally after asking several times and a long wait Chucky came out no singing nothing but a wave. I was very disappointed with the staff especially when they lied twice that Chucky would be out. I noticed some of the staff sitting and just folding pizza boxes instead of getting involved with the kids. Especially since Chucky is supposed to come out every half hour. And I have to say. I miss COVID for the restaurant cleanlyness everyplace had . This did not.

Floor was sticky in the food area. Napkins holders were dusty Games were not clean. And forget about the bathroom.. It smelled..

Boy fo I miss that smell of things being cleaned.. No cleaning smell in that bathroom.. Sink was dirty

Food took a while, I order the pumkin face I wouldn't recommend it. Just get the normal pie. I had to ask this twice.. I thought I was hearing wrong.. The prices are so high it's crazy. 6 wings..17 dollars.. Yes 6 wings . Are you crazy..

4 games were not working, while we were there..thankfully my grand daughter was young. So she didnt realize it but grammy did.. Just not the same. If you go. Play the games. And Go to a pizza place or apple bees in.the same...
