The most pathetic showing of a charity in my entire life. I arrived at the Haven of Rest a little after noon, because online they don't explain anything about their clothing vouchers. Please keep int the front of your mind that I'm homeless. The sign states that homeless clothing vouchers are only available from one to three. So I sit down out of the way, in a recliner and mess on my phone. I unfortunately, fell asleep. I was woke by a lady at 1:30 who is yelling at me and screaming "what are you doing here!?!!" and "You can't sleep here!!!", "Get out of the store!!!" mean she was literally screaming this as loud as she can and felt it necessary to embarrass me in front of an entire store and I was unable to get clean clothes which was my entire reason for walking all the way here. This lady is complete trash and I hope she gets the same treatment...
Read moreThis isnt my experience but i witnessed it.... A good friend of mine is currently homeless and was residing at the shelter... He works everyday walks to and from work in all weather... They do have a curfew but if u are working they will make acceptions for some... So my friend was at work one night and 30 mins before closing time they got super busy and due to this he was 30 mins late walking back to the shelter.... When he arrived there after rushing and a long day at work he came to see his bags were packed for him and he was thrown into the street at 1030 at night in the middle of winter... Now u tell me what kind of people...
