Billiards players alert, this is the place to go in the area! It is owned and operated by Janet Atwell who is at this writing # 8 in the Women's Professional Billiards Association (WPBA). This location opened about a year ago, moving just a few storefronts up from her original location. They already had their opening WPBA tournament this past May which had her crew working furiously to finish the new location. There are 4 floors with the billiard hall occupying the first 2 floors. She has some other plans for those upper floors once the finishing touches on first 2 are completed. The hall is absolutely beautiful and top of the line everything (see pics)! The tables are all new Brunswick billiard tables. One section is set up for the professional tournaments with stadium style seating and announcers booth. There are 2 bars and great food food available like wings, burgers, pizzas and I was told, wonderful sandwiches. We loved the place so much, we are going back tomorrow! The upstairs "Arena" boasts several Brunswick Tournament tables that are maintained to perfection with the best lighting, polished ball sets, clean cloth, and a very chill atmosphere. There's a gallery with super comfy movie theater style seating, great food, and superior selection of spirits. The owner is pro player Janet Atwell and you will not find a nicer, more down-to-earth person anywhere in the business. There are always events being hosted, cash tournaments, mentor and training opportunities, and Joe Blackburn -one of the best cue repair and maintenance guys available on-site and ready to meet any needs you could have concerning pool and billiards. ZERO STAR REVIEW. Was on a date at Rhythm and roots Saturday night, the downstairs female bartender after waiting a crazy amount of time(I understand crazy busy night) took our I.Ds and started asking questions like "oh what's his name and what's her birthday?" Completely unnecessary, in my opinion. Lied about not having any margarita mix downstairs. I know this for a fact because 2 of our friends got that drink downstairs from a male bartender. Also, she lied about forgetting to run my tab for a beer and then double charged me for one. This place is an absolute joke, and this bartenders behavior was completely unprofessional. If I could give a Zero star review, I would. I will be reporting this to the BBB. I have my recipients....
