Misty Mountain Designs — Local services in Bristol

Walked in this store for the first time on NOV. 21st Tues. at around 2:30 pm. I saw cute greatful dead ponchos outside, upon entering the store, 2 people were leaving, who probably knew the guy working because they were talking to him like they did. After they were gone I was the only customer in the store. There was a guy (an employee), behind the counter. I was never greeted. Figured he probably did not see me. So i started looking at some neat mittens which were right infront of the counter where the guy was. The guy still never greeted me or spoke to me. The whole time I was there i felt a very intense and unwelcoming vibe. When i was looking at stuff in the store i felt like i did not even exist and completely, intentionally, ignored. It was obvious i was in the store at this point and if he claims he did not know he is lying to save his face. I dont know what his issue was, but this was a really sick first experience here. I left and do not intend on ever returning....

My husband is from Bristol so we come back to the area at least once a year. I will never come to Bristol and NOT shop here at least once. This past post Christmas, they had the store packed to the rafters with awesomeness. Clothes, bags, jewelry, patches, crystals, it's all here and I had to really be judicious with myself or I'd have spent even more. The prices here are 100% fair and sometimes even surprisingly low. Got a huge floral Stealie back patch for about 25% of its true worth. I also bought the coolest baja ever and my new favorite geode!

MMD always has something I like and end up buying. Whether it be Sage Incense, clothing, Unique mined minerals, or jewelry for my wife. Lot's of unique items in a Bazaar'esque atmosphere. I did read a previous review citing lack of greeting, but that is subjective. Another may just as equally cite that as a positive implying to no-pressure sales thus contributing to a comfortable atmosphere. I can only speak for my experience and I don't know any staff members personally, but have always been helped when I've asked for it, otherwise my wife & I been left to browse on our own and been kindly...
