On September 19 of 2020 my husband and I bought an Samsun TV Q60 at Best Buy in Brockton M.A . We look and different places but, decided that this store had a good reputation. We ask the associated about the return policy at the moment of the purchase and the associated toll as that the Store have extended the return policy do to the situation with covid 19, he didn't explain what will cover or not . 2 weeks past by and the T.V start to give problem with color and sound.I call the Best Buy 1800# and keep me waiting on the telephone not knowing what to do I told my husband go to the store with the T.V Best Buy Store at Brockton and talk to the manager about what happened. The lady at the door was so rude and said that it was nothing they could do and also she acuse us of hearing the T.V with a ball, also she said we only had 1 day to return a T.V with that kind of problem.. That was the crazy thing I have ever hear as a customer I think how in the world you buy something thinking that the next day will have a problem with the color??? My husband ask to talk to the manager but he was not better .He said there was nothing they could do (no return, store credit or exchange or anything) we didn't want the money for the T.V back all we wanted was a T.V the work event if it has to be another T.V more expensive then that one but, the manager said nooo...We pay little more the 1,000$ and it didn't work not even 3 weeks and not giving the customer a solution for bought parties to be happy I don't know what caen of manager and company is that.. My husband left the T.V at the store and refused to take home like that we file a complaint with my credit car and call the 1800 # for Best Buy but no one give me and unser I'm so disappoint of Best Buy what a way to ripoff customers .I will call B.B.B and if I have to I will bring it to court because I think that is not right. I been working in Retail for about 20 years and never hear anything like it even Macy's have a better customer service ad return policy better then Best Buy ..This is a big company the sales electronic is impossible that such a company like that doesn't have a way to fix a problem like that with out...
Read moreI love Best Buy's unique and full variety of best-quality electronics & phone accessories. My only gripes would be that despite the level of great quality they charge waaay too much for almost everything until its marked down or clearance. And the fact the you only earn $5 in rewards for every hundred you spend seems just a tad on the cheap side on their part, nevermind the fact that i have a huge issue with that amount reward denomination, because if I just spent $100 and up at your store and you issue me a $5 reward of which you require it to be spent within either 14 or 30 days of issuance, what makes you think I'm really going to want to come back and spend another minimal amount of at least $15 because Best Buy makes damn sure finding anything in their store, (other than comp parts nobody's used for 20 yrs now, candy, or ugly clearance phone cases for phones my mother and her mother would not even be caught dead still using), is priced at anything lower than $18.99. Yea we noticed your stingyness guys. Lol ...All-in-all though,, its still worth it, especially considering the phenomenal level of cust svc. (But too often lately on occasion I've been harrassed if i help 90 in a half hr or the store assoc helping me unfortunately does not even have job experience coming straight out of HS, nevermind any knowledge of electronics, phones, etc. Too sad to see a Best Buy assoc dumdfounded RE a very simple inquiry that should be common knowledge for them. Go back to paying them above min wage so that yall can go back to hiring knowledgeable and ready-to-work & -learn employees with some better paid experience beyond typing...
Read moreI ordered 2 TVs for in store pick up at 1130 in the morning. At 6pm after many phone calls I just went to the store to collect my items that I had already paid for. I realise that I was supposed to get a text saying that they were ready but after 6.5 hours the convenience of the store pick up option had long since evaporated. You'd think that they would've been insanely busy but the store was far from that. I was the only person in line and was actually told "um, like actually it says your stuff hasn't been pulled yet. It will message you when it's ready.". I had to actually tell the staff who tried to turn me away to go get my items. I think I'm a fairly realistic person and I don't expect a store run by mostly highschool kids to be an amazing service experience but to actually try and turn away a customer who had already paid for their items simply so the employees can be lazy is comically absurd. Again, this store was nowhere near busy. The parking lot was not overflowing and the checkout lines maybe had 2 customers in them at a time. 6.5 hours and you still can't be bothered to simply bring my items to the front? The only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 is because the remaining staff were nice and professional but that only goes so far. I just want my stuff. I don't think that's asking...
