I stayed 1 night. Forgot my belt in the closet. I made sure to call the next day before check in hours to see if someone can retrieve my belt for me prior to any check ins. The front end worker said no one has checked in yet and she would send someone to check and call me back. I never received a call back. I called 3 hours later for an update, unfortunately I had to deal with a guest service worker by the name of Danielle who said nothing was in the lost and found . I asked if she can go check the room for me. She said someone was already in there and I had to call back at the end of the week. I asked her what happened to the call back I was supposed to receive prior to any check ins. She hung up on me. I called about 7 more times just for her to pick up and hang up the phone each time. I called from another number, she answered. I asked to speak with the manager and she transferred me to some generic voicemail. I went in person to the hotel, I asked her for her managers name and number and her name. She said she didn't have to give it to me and called the police. The police came, I explained to them the situation and they went up to the room to look for me. It wasn't there, so I'm assuming it was stolen by an employee. Nevertheless, this is atrocious customer service. What was the reason for calling the police when all she had to do was give me the Managers name and number and also her name to file a complaint? If you are that scared of people, where your first instinct is to call the police, than guest services isn't the job for you. Even the police said that this should've been handled better than it was by the hotel and representative. Wasting tax payer dollars for what? I will never stay in this place again, and if you are black or a person of color, and Danielle is working, I'd advise you not to stay here either. She was shocked when I didn't run when she picked up the phone to call the police. She went hiding after she called until they came. You hang up on a customer 8 times, they show up in person and you refuse to give the managers information and your name, and then call the cops? I would love to see their customer service training module. This...
Read morePoorly ran by the General Manager. Needed to stay here for a few nights and needed to extend by one day. My original form of payment froze and I had to use the only card I had available which is my Apple Mastercard created by apple and managed and funded by Goldman Sachs it's an actual CREDIT CARD that I had to apply for and get approved for with a credit line. I've used this card at the airport. Out of the country. At Marriott and Hyatt hotels. The sign at the desk says NO PREPAID CARDS- apple PAY, Venmo, cash app etc., so I simply asked my other card is not working can you just swipe it to let it decline she just kept telling me she doesn't take Apple Pay. I completely understand why they wouldn't take Apple Pay which again THIS IS NOT! In fact- when you Google it as she said she did it tells you that the card is stand alone from Apple Pay you can ACCESS the card through Apple Pay same as you can your American Express. Which also further proved she didn't know what she was talking about because she took time to Google it as a GM you were speaking as if you knew already and not wait for me to walk away and look it up. I called 2 other country inn and suites and they told me that they do accept the credit card not the apply PAY card. As you can tell by my profile I don't make reviews. But this was poor customer service: they kept telling me the system won't accept it, well as a customer it won't break your machine to simply slide the card and see if it does and she told me I'm not arguing with you your stay is not extended you can check out at noon. I will not speak on the hotel in a whole because it was not a fully bad experience the check in process with another rep was very kind and understanding as it was after midnight due to a safety issue. For the hotel type rooms were decent and sheets were clean. But this is poor and the GM treated me poorly. I left saying treat ppl with kindness you never know what they're going through. I did record the state the room was left in. In case they try some...
Read moreINSANE! I was racially profiled, if you see any reviews saying anything similar believe them. There was an assumption that I was smoking marijuana in my room at 2am , I was called and woken up. Not even 2 minutes later I went downstairs to the front desk because it was clearly a misunderstanding. The lady “JAMIE” who I spoke to at the time told me I did not smell like weed and that she COULD NOT check my room out because she was alone. I insisted that we wait for the cops together so they can check out my room because you can not say I smoked in my room because you smelt it in a hallway accompanied by many other rooms. My boyfriend and I waited in that lobby with her so she can not say I was trying to pull a fast one. The officers came and inspected my room and found no residue or smell in my room. They even noted to Jamie that the alarm would have went off if it was me. The smell was prominent in the hallway because it was the room next door. The officers insisted that Jaime check out the other room and she refused. Instead she stated “I know that is what her people do so I do not want them staying here” my mother also checked out the same night. I am appalled and disgusted with how I was treated. The manager never spoke to me and the review she just wrote is a lie. I had to update my review so potential customers can see the full story. My room was never checked out by Jaimie and the officers told her it was NOT my room. She instead called another set of officers because they were not forcing us out even though our room was not the culprit. Very racist staff. Save your time and money and go to the holiday inn or...
