This salon did a TERRIBLE job with my color, and I am being kind.

I have light brown hair, no highlights. I went to the salon for a haircut and to color my gray roots. I specifically stated that I did not want the color of my hair changed.

This was a simple color job. It is a color job that I usually do myself at home.

1. I started to get concerned when no color matching was done.

2. I became even more concerned when the alarm rang to wash out my color and nobody was around and waiting for that alarm to sound.

I had to get up from my chair to ask the receptionist to find someone to remove my color.

3. I really started to get scared when my hair was washed and dried.

My hair was no longer light brown: it was almost black! I commented that my hair was around 10 shades darker than it was supposed to be.

I was told, "Don't worry, the color will wash out after a few shampoos". Well, it's day #5 and it did not wash out.

4. I was supposed to get my hair cut with Giovanni and I was told in the middle of my coloring that Giovanni wasn't available (he was busy cutting another woman's hair) and someone named George would do it.

George did a great job but I still felt like a "bait and switch" was done. I had an appointment with the most experienced hairdresser in the salon and my hairdresser was switched 15 minutes before my hair was cut.

This was the first and last time I would use this salon. I bought a Groupon to try them out.

If you just want to get your hair cut, this salon is fine, even with the "bait and switch".

Long overdue review for this gem of a salon. Had my second appointment there today and realized that I’d forgotten to write the much deserved review I’d planned on writing after my first visit. I’d initially gone there several months ago, for a cut and full highlights. Jean (the owner) really wowed me with his precision, attention to detail and seemingly effortless talent. Definitely one of the best colors and cuts I’ve ever had. The cut (angled bob) grew out so well that I didn’t need to rush back. I realized today that it had been 4 months since my last appointment (and my hair wasn’t completely awful in either the cut or color department, shocking I know!), but I took a chance and called, asking if they could squeeze me in today. Jean arranged for his brother George to take my appointment. Slam Dunk #2! Seriously?? I’m so super picky and hard to please when it comes to my hair, that I’m personally shocked to get two fantastic cuts/colors from different stylists at the same salon. I felt pampered and indulged today and I couldn’t be happier with the results. And as if that was hard to top, their pricing is incredibly reasonable! I got Groupon coupon and went for my appointment, they are very good with appointments and communication. I guess the main stylist is man I saw him working with other girls hair and he just make ur hair look perfect and even if he is not doing your hair he will have keep check with every customer . But I got old lady I requested her light brown hair colour , she said it might be too much for you I will go for brown I said ok but I prefer light but we can do coffee brown . I have natural color black on my hair. She did colour my hair but it is black, which is actually my original. I didn’t have chance to tell them I feel it’s black it was already around 8 pm there closing time.The old lady did my hair cut as well, i did told her cut little not much. But then when my hair was getting blowout with another women she mentioned me you should get hair cut. We both starting laughing as I told her I just did my haircut mins before.
