Hernando Park — Attraction in Brooksville

What an Amazing Place to Enjoy time with The Family! While your here enjoying all the beautiful amenities this park has to offer don't forget to take a Tour around Downtown Brooksville. All within walking distance I'd recommend starting at Florida Makers Mercantile and trying the delicious Ice Cream they have to offer, when you leave which you might not want to head on down to The Bread Box bakery for their amazing treats ya'll will be sure to enjoy. It doesn't stop there, take a left another quick left and then a right heading up towards our Historic Court House and stop on in and see Bob, he'll be sure to point you in the Right direction and you never know who you might run into or what you might find at Easy...

Don't bring your kids here if they can read. Nasty stuff written all over the playground. Did lol at the "olive garden breadsticks" creative but still nasty. Also found a syringe cap on the playground and then spent the little time we were there worrying about my kids stepping on or touching a dirty rig. The park is gross and the wrong crowds are using it for the wrong reasons. Also watched a man nodding out with his buddy on the corner of the stage. Had to explain to my toddler that he was sick and when she offered to bring him medicine, why our medicine wouldn't work.I hope the community is trying to help the homeless population and those suffering from addiction. 2 stars because from a distance the park...

I love Hernando park. It is very accommodating for big events such as The Blueberry Festival which is an Incredible event! Lot's of hard work and planning goes into it. The vendor line up was superb. The music was great that was held at the park. The food was delicious. I was honored to be a part of it! If you get a chance to go to the park for a music experience I think you will greatly enjoy it! It is also very accommodating if you want to get out for the day with your children or pets.
