This is probably one of the smallest nature centers I've ever been to, but it's very cozy and welcoming. The building is very beautiful and kept up. The grounds are clean and they provide food for the wild animals in the back of the cabin. They also provide brochures that explain the park. The loop trail is 1/2 mile long and circles around the Peninsula. In the nature center, you can find days where they provide activities for children and educational information. Not much room to park at the actual nature center, but there is a plaza located next to it, you could park there.
