Brazos Church Pantry — Attraction in Bryan

I was sent to brazos church pantry my daughter was also sent to the brazos church pantry to get help with food and we were told you had to live in the Brazos Valley so with me being on oxygen and my daughter having her young child (hungry)with us we.sit in sun on this beautiful day from 10am till 1pm (the time they opened the doors) only to be told (rudley)that they would not help us because we lived in Brazos Valley not in Brazos county ..which we were told we had to live in Brazos Valley and this website is under food pantry in the Brazos Valley ..so I hope they put up a sign in their window which states this fact and take their website off the Brazos Valley and put it under food pantries for Brazos county ..thanks for the un-christian like attitude at the Brazos CHURCH pantry and having to explain to my family why they don't have food and why I wasted my time sitting in line when I could have been trying to seek help elsewhere..lady I will be praying for you so the next time you tell someone you won't help their family I pray you will be a...

Very small daily homeless packs. The weekly ones last you about 3 days but you can get one only once a week. There is a monthly pack that fits in a shopping cart but is too much too carry around. They give everyone the same foods there is no concern given to allergies. People who need help and are not homeless they give a shopping cart worth of food but it is only a weeks worth and you can only get it once a month. Very sad because it's funded by 18 different churches.

Update. They're doing a lot better, got this hat and $10.00 Subway gift card that is near the pantry for Christmas( from a volunteer). They offer weekly bags to people in cars, give a little more food to the homeless, for Christmas they gave away a 30lb turkey and 30 days of canned goods with about 10 lbs of dry goods to people in cars in addition to...

I was going threw hard times at work and money was very limited my Mother and Grandmother told me about this wonderful place that helps people with day to day necessities that they need. The staff was so kind so sweet and friendly i thank God that people today still do the Lord's work by giving to other's .. So Thank you Brazos Church Pantry for taking the time to put my needs first when no one would. It means so much.! God bless and stay...
