Brazos Valley African American Museum — Attraction in Bryan

Today I drove 100 miles to this location and 100 miles back from this location with the expectation of visiting this museum which indicated on the website the hours to be as follows: Sunday-Monday: Closed Tuesday-Friday: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm School and Group tours call for reservation.

Arrived at 12:00 pm and thought ok, will wait until 12:15pm allowing for CP time. Walked up to the door and found a note attached to the door that stated: We are closed today. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Well guess what Me too!!

You have a Website, which was checked prior to leaving home, to verify hours and get correct address for directions. Your organization had the perfect opportunity to indicate that the Museum would not be open 9/28 until........

If you cannot be held accountable for the hours you have posted, you need to add a disclaimer to the website that states the hours posted are subject to change and please call and verify that location is open prior to visiting.

Today I lost 4 hours of my life that I cannot get back and $22.00 worth of gas, because your organization was negligent using the communication avenues that was available to you.

I cannot review the content of the building, however the outside is just as pictured, however the professionalism is a 0 for me.

Not sure if I will be back or not, although the cost to enter is nominal, I feel like any future visit from me needs to be absolutely...

This museum is one of the worst to do business with and unprofessional. A few people contacted one of the workers to have them speak at their important organization ahead of time and they unprofessionally canceled last minute.
