William Peak Park — Attraction in Buena Park

This is a great park with lots of options. There's a modern style play set for young kids, which includes a seesaw. Something I haven't see at a park for a long time. There's an exercise area not far from the playground. As well as 2 shaded sitting areas. There are restrooms at this park though I didn't see a drinking fountain, so bring a water bottle. There are 2 basketball courts near the restrooms along with 2 small baseball fields, though they my be for younger kids from T-ball to maybe 12 year olds sized fields. There is a skate park as well, and I believe there is a community swimming pool. Though you may have to check if that's accurate or when it would be open. Lots of friendly locals and overall a well kept park, with lots of options. Also I believe this is the park where they hold the Silverado days events. Very nice park with a cool view of Knotts Berry Farm in the background. Very big grass area with a single net basketball court that is in good condition. The net needs to be replaced or maintained, but it is in a very good position because the net faces the grass, and the court is surrounded by grass, so you don't have to worry about chasing the ball in the street. Very good workout station as well. The workout equipment is in a rock gravel pit, and all together so you feel like you are in a gym. The bathrooms were clean and useable, and I felt safe. There was an ice cream truck that came by that uses venmo or Cash App, very courteous with good variety. I enjoyed eating snacks we brought under the cazeebo, as the wood tables were clean and not vandalized. Just a very nice, peaceful, and joyous...

This park has been around for THE longest time. Been coming here since Elementary School. Through the years not much has changed the skate park really is the only thing that has. It's very clean, family friendly. The only thing I can see POTENTIALLY is not enough tables. It is threat for picnics and outings. If you run out of supplies there is a few close grocery stores, El Super, CVS, and some jr markets. Over all I don't see me not coming here anytime soon in the future. Lots of parking space.
