Xcelerator — Attraction in Buena Park

Although Xcelerator is a short ride, it packs a serious punch with its incredible speed and smooth launch. From the moment it shot off the line, I was hooked—this coaster delivers an intense burst of adrenaline that’s hard to beat. The quick acceleration and cool design make it a thrilling experience from start to finish, and I loved every second of it. It’s definitely one of those rides that leaves you wanting more.

I sadly only got to ride Xcelerator three times during my visit, but each run was amazing and so smooth. It’s a fantastic coaster to add a quick thrill to your day at Knott’s Berry Farm. If you're scared of it, just remember, the drop is like over pretty quickly, and you're only up high for a second, and the first time the launch doesn't really feel that fast until you've gone on it multiple times.

The lights count down to when you go and it turns green a split second before you launch.

There is phenomenal airtime over the top. That makes me feel like a cowboy, but only in the back. You don't feel anything in the middle. Once you've gone on a few times you feel the launch and it feels like you're traveling through other dimensions.

Absolutely gorgeous Intamin Coaster! This coaster is beautiful with it's flame paint shining across the sunset. The launch is quick and intense, and if you aren't stapled you can get a tiny bit of floater dropping off of the top hat. Then you rise into the 1st high banked turn, and then the 2nd one. Both turns are fun but the 2nd one has a good headchopper effect moment. Then you hit the brakes, ending the 30 seconds of pure adrenaline. Knotts, you did a fantastic job on this ride!
