Update: Store owner called me rude and childish after pointing out the fact that putting up signs (as shown in the picture) is rude. Clearly this business doesnât know that basics of running a business.
would have given 5 star. But I went in and saw this sign. I mean that is ridiculous!!! You canât expect your clients to not touch the plush toys you have scattered around the shop. People love them. Especially kids. I didnât stop my kid from touching the plushies because I thought that they were being ridiculous. But he was giving my son âthey eyeâ. This sign makes the place look very unwelcoming. I donât really like the couple that runs this place. Both of them have an attitude. Their drinks are great, though something tells me that they very unfriendly.
Update for the owner. Of course I dont want my son to get sick but I suggest you remove the plush toys from your restaurant overall. And by just touching the toys wont get anyone sick. I have been to hundreds of tea places and all of them have plushies scattered like that. You can put up a sign saying, âKindly touch the plush toys at your own risk as they have been touched by other people.â Putting that sign up does makes you look rude. I am a business owner too and trust me that sign does look very unwelcoming. Secondly, You are probably not doing this on purpose since its hard to run a business but I have never seen you guy smile when you are taking an order. Its just not me, I have atleast 5 other people tell me the exact same thing who visited your place.
Updated to 1 star because of your snarky respond. I hope people come to the reviews and see how rude you people are. Not going to go this place again. I said earlier your drinks are great, but they are average compared to moshi moshi cafe. They are very nice. Always smiling. The owener comes out to talk to customers, asks for feedback, chat about their day. While you guys sit and play games on your computer and take a nap on...
Read moreWent there with my brothers after they suggested the place was good and we were met with some rude staff. The employees seem like itâs a hassle whenever customers walk in. The order taker was more focused on what my nephew was doing rather than what we were ordering. My brother put a review about his experience and the owner did not take the criticism well and suggested how to parent his child. He also did not seem to care about their bad customer service and said we should be focused on the drink rather than worrying about being greeted. Never seen this type of behavior from a business. The owner also seems to think that there are fake reviews from fake accounts being posted and has threatened to involve authorities. He doesnât seem to understand there were 5 of us and all 5 had a bad experience with our visit. The policies they have are also non inclusive and very backwards.

Read moreI would love to rate this place highly burlington needs more unique places. However, I can't placed my order waited thirty minutes, they had to ask me and three other people what our orders were again. We'll after all that waiting I was told they actually are out of Boba and can't make my order. They asked if I wanted something different without Boba I said no thank you I would like a refund. They then asked why I wanted a refund and I had to explain its because you ran out of the very thing I came to the store for. I know it's hard to start a new business, things run out it's part of life. But why wait thirty minutes to tell me. I watched then remake several orders before mine that had issues with them. It's disappointing knowing that's probably the reason they ran out. I will never go back.
I also wanted to add this was my first time to Royal tea and I've never had Boba tea. I was extremely...
