The Terrace at River Oaks — Local services in Camas

The Terrace at River Oaks, and more importantly, the personnel managing the complex, KELSEY, RANDY, ROBERT, and Robert's assistant, MAT, have made this the most wonderful place I have EVER lived, bar none. Not only is it beautiful, but the fact that you can reserve the Clubhouse, Courtyard, or Rooftop Terrace, for FREE, for any occasion or event you might be having, is wonderful. I've already had a Lions Club BBQ Meeting of about 25 people, being able to utilize BOTH the Courtyard and the Clubhouse, but also, in the Clubhouse, a Thanksgiving celebration with my entire family, (22 people). Kelsey was kind enough to allow me to use HER table decorations. In addition, all of the wonderful and amazing things the crew has done for me, to include, but not limited to:

1. having had problems with people parking in my reserved spot, after having a confrontation with someone and I was pretty upset, Kelsey and Robert IMMEDIATELY took out time to post "Reserved for Resident Parking" signs THAT DAY.
2. I've had serious problems with my neck, including having to have emergency surgery so as not to end up paralyzed. I asked Kelsey if there was any possibility of me getting a mailbox that was higher up, since mine was low to the ground and difficult to get to due to my condition. Without hesitation, she gave a mailbox that was absolutely perfect. May not sound like much, but in my world, it meant everything to me.
3. Recently, because of being in the hospital and not starting my vehicle since early December, I was attempting my first "practice drive" since being out of the hospital. After making the effort to get to my vehicle and loading my walker into it, which was no easy task, needless to say, it didn't start. I became quite emotional. I called Kelsey, from my car, and again, without hesitation, stated she would contact Robert to see if he could assist. Well, he was there in mere minutes, along with Mat, and they worked at it for quite a bit, until it started...in the rain.
4. The same day I had car trouble, which added to my physical and mental distress, I arrived back home with a load of groceries. After using one of the wonderful carts they have available to bring my groceries up to my apartment (it doubled as a walker for me) I came back downstairs, only to realize the dilemma I had of trying to park my car in my space, but still have my walker there upon exiting my vehicle. I would have had to load the walker in my car and then unload it. This would have been physically challenging for me. RANDY to the rescue. He happened to be standing there when I was verbally trying to figure out how to do this, he, without hesitation, stated he would bring my walker over to my space...and IT WAS RAINING...still!!! But he didn't hesitate to help.
5. Kelsey ALWAYS has a kind smile and kind greeting/word upon seeing me. Sometimes she'll even allow a short conversation, in spite of the fact that I know she's busy.
6. I also need to say that Randy, Robert, and Mat, also always greet me with a smile and kind hello.
7. I almost forgot one more very important addition to the crew here...Rebecca. What a kind, caring, wonderful person. She ALWAYS had a kind greeting, with a wonderful smile, and usually brightens my day.

I LOVE this place and would recommend it to anyone. I would even be willing to sit down with a potential "Future Resident" and answer any questions they may have. If life permits it, I'll be here for the rest of my...

From beginning to end the application to move-in process went seamlessly. My husband and I actually leased site unseen and could not be more thrilled! It is not often that something depicted online is exactly as seen in pictures, but this building did not disappoint. Everyone that we have come in contact with this first week here has been warm and very friendly. Kelsey the manager is top notch, very informative and when answering questions you are not made to feel like it is an imposition. Robert the maintenance man is very professional and courteous. We feel very blessed to have found this beautiful new home in Camas, WA!

UPDATE.................... Well, it's suddenly 2 years later.....time speeds by. We have and are still having a wonderful experience here! Although the management team has changed and sometimes change is hard on us older folks, TMG has done a great job finding top notch, professional people to fill the shoes of Kelsey. We have Randy (manager), who will always greet you with positive attitude and help answer any questions you might have. Couldn't ask for better! Also, the departure of Serena,(whose shoes would be very hard to fill), in which the position was filled by a kind, courteous, gentleman named Dan. I am pleased to report that he has been a most excellent addition to the team. Handles situations that arise with calmness and respect. Thank you team TMG! And as always, Robert and his team are top notch!

UPDATE……..

It has been 3 years now that we have lived here and we couldn’t be happier. I felt like it was time once again to acknowledge the exceptional staff we have here at Terrace Oaks. Randy the manager is always on top of his game and Aleisha the assistant manager is always a breath of fresh air. It’s nice to feel comfortable enough to approach either one and know without a doubt that your concerns will be addressed in a caring, professional manner. As for Robert our maintenance man, top notch and always gets the job done effectively and in a timely manner. I’m so happy that TMG takes such great care in choosing their employees! A big thank you!

It's that time of year again. Hard to believe another year has come and gone. Just want to mention and acknowledge the excellent service we receive here at The Terrace at River Oaks. Randy our building manager is busier than ever, but yet always takes the time for your questions and concerns. We have had a new addition to the staff this year and what a wonderful one it has been! Keller is always upbeat and positive and never without a smile. As for Robert, there are truly no words for what this man accomplishes in a day. Always the professional and gets the job done in a quick, satisfactory manner. Each one of them is so appreciated and needed to keep our building running smoothly. ...

Hello, I have lived at Terrace at River Oaks since 2/2020. I enjoy living here because it is quiet, the neighbors are respectful. You have a nice selection of views, price varies depending on the views. You can face Mount Hood, the river or the woods and a creek. I face the woods and the creek. I love the sound of the creek, I don't get much direct sun, and I love that because I like it cool and it keeps my energy bill down. We get to see deer and bunnies pretty frequently. Maintenance addresses issue pretty quickly. They have a dog park, which is great because I have a dog. The amenities are nice to have and the residents plan get togethers and the management arranges celebrations too.

Keller is very nice and will do what she can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Randy is a great property manager. He does what he needs to do to keep the property safe and running smoothly. They manage 3 properties so they stay very busy.

There is little insulation between floors, so if you are noise sensitive you will want to be on the 4th floor, or be willing to get used to it. Parking is tight and there are no covered spots.

Living in apartments is best when we are all considerate of those around us. This is not a medical facility, it is just an age restricted apartment building.
