Round Table continues to lie and disappoint. They responded and told me to email them. Once I did they said someone would contact me with 3-5 business days. It’s been OVER A MONTH, no response*
Round Table makes good pizza, worth spending a bit more for. What I don’t like is being lied to. Last night we made an online order, which said it would be delivered by an hour after placing the order. After 70 minutes had passed without any updates, my husband called and talked to Will. Will told him that our order “wasn’t there”, so that meant the delivery person must have it. Okay? Another 15 minutes pass and my husband gets a text from DoorDash that they are waiting for our order. Keep in mind that we didn’t use doordash, round table is using doordash because they don’t have delivery drivers. So I call round table back and I also get Will, who continues to lie and say our order had been picked up and was on its way 20 minutes prior. His attitude was just “well it’s not here, there’s nothing I can do”. I explained to him several times that he was saying my order was picked up 20 minutes ago, doordash says they are waiting for it, so where’s the order we are spending a good chunk of money on? He didn’t care and offered no solutions. When the Door dash delivery person finally arrived ( one hour and 40 minutes after placing the order, so 40 minutes late) she confirmed she had just picked it up, long after Will said it was “not there”. I get that there are staffing shortages everywhere. What I don’t appreciate is being lied to. I would’ve been more than understanding if Will was like “look it’s here but we don’t have anyone to deliver it yet”. Read moreA piece of advice...If you had even TRIED to offer some sort of compensation for our waste of time and money, we'd probably give you a 2nd chance. There was no "the customer is always right" in our situation, and we're not difficult customers by any means! We went here last night for dinner, trying to support a local business. We sat in the bar, ordered 2 beers, 2 salad bars, and 2 sandwiches. I wish I would've been timing it. we were long finished with our beers and salads, and still no sandwiches. We finally asked for them to be put in to-go boxes. It still took forever to get them. When we tried talking to our waitress about how long it was taking, we got no offer to comp anything. Our bill was over $50.00. When we got home, it was obvious that one of the sandwiches had been thrown into the to-go box. It looked like it had been dropped. When we walked out of the place, we had to walk thru a "tunnel" of smokers right outside of the front doors, lining the sidewalk on both sides...disgusting AND against the law! I am very disappointed that there was NO offer of any refund or free meal or anything. I was hoping this place would succeed when they first came to town, but it is obvious by reading all of the bad reviews and seeing that hot mess of a restaurant in person, that it will fail. Read moreI so desperately wanted to like this location. It's in a great spot with a view and a better menu then the other round tables in Vancouver. But my experiences have been absolutely horrific with this location. Every single delivery the order has either been wrong or they forget part of the order. We ate there yesterday and ordered three burgers and a kids burger. We sat there for 45 minutes for them to only come out with one burger. The order for that burger was completely messed up. So I took it back up to the counter and told them. The waitress (who was the only helpful one in the place) said I will personally re do your order. 10 minutes later they come over and tell us that the burgers are frozen and we have to wait another hour for our food. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager because our orders are always MESSED up. The manager (I think) came over and tried to blame it on the new person they hired, how unprofessional, and took no responsibility for all the mistakes that they make. Demanded a refund and got it. I have to say, the management there is absolutely terrible and because of that, the restaurant is run poorly. That will be the last time we visit that location.
