This is a small but charming waterfall located right in the heart of Camden, near the harbor. There’s a little grassy area with benches where you can sit and enjoy the view of the harbor — though when we visited, most of the boats were covered for the season. It’s a peaceful spot to take a quick break, especially if you’re on a road trip.
The area around the falls has plenty of local charm, with restaurants, delis, and souvenir shops just along the road. It’s a convenient place to grab a bite, stretch your legs, and enjoy the small-town coastal atmosphere. There’s also a library nearby if you need a restroom.

There are five amazing dams on the river making for a great exploration trip upstream with a gorgeous river and scenery. And the river and its dams have 235 years of heritage behind them with all kinds of stories. It's a living history book.
Unfortunately the Town Select Board is pushing very hard to get rid of most of the falls and dams in the near future. Better come visit them...
