Imagine That Boutique — Attraction in Cape Girardeau

I have had nothing but fantastic experiences in the Imagine That store in the Cape mall. The owner of these stores, there are 3 in the mall that are sister companies, is a great lady. She went out of her way to not only locate merchandise for me but she actually went to her St. Louis location and got the item after calling to have it held for me and then brought in to the Cspe store for me to pick up. Very accommodating to say the least. The girls in Imagine That are helpful but not pushy and I haven't ever felt any kind of negativity in there BUT I do not shop in the Hello Gorgeous store because the girls in there look down their noses at you. It's uncomfortable and very unprofessional. I'm sure they don't do it in front of the owner cuz she would not allow it. Just a guess by the way she treated me more than once. Those young girls in the HG store have a whole lot to learn about sales and customer service. I have been in there twice and there was about a 6 month span between visits and it was the same both times. I just stick yo shopping at Imagine That where the girls are very nice and do their jobs properly. A+ for the Imagine That store and all of the employees plus the owner but the HG store, I steer clear. I don't go shopping to end my day feeling self conscious or with my self esteem crushed and I doubt anyone else...

I usually love shopping at Hello Gorgeous, but the last time I went there to buy a set that I had been looking at for weeks. Walked in, needed a dressing room, and as soon as I was done in the dressing room the lady took my stuff and said she’d hold it at the front for me. (Usually I wouldn’t mind but she wasn’t very nice about it) I shopped around a little longer and was constantly being checked on, and what felt like being stared at. My friend was buying some stickers and the lady was watching her like a hawk. I get it we look young, but all of us are in our 20’s and make plenty enough money. Profiling people and assuming they’re gonna steal is the number one thing that is wrong with this store and what draws away other costumers. I worked in retail for 3 years, and even if I thought someone was stealing would never treat or “taunt” them the way this lady did. Bought the set, and love it. But probably will not be back for AWHILE after that experience. Or at least avoid going while that lady is working, and no i did not get her name. I’m not interested in rude people’s...

This place has such terrible customer service. Rude managers and they seem to treat their employees really badly. A few weeks ago I walked in and a woman who I'm assuming was in charge was yelling at this poor employee. This is not the service or attitude I support. It was very unprofessional and hurt my heart.
