I didnât have a great in store experience today. I ordered shoes online that I didnât love so, I went to return them at the Cape Girardeau store. I went right at opening time and there was a gentleman opening the store. I caught an immediate vibe that he was irritated. I mean, I just want an exchange or a return. He opened the box and says âwe donât have these.â I said âI ordered online, I donât want the same shoe. A refund is fine.â I paid $130 for the shoe. I had the packing slip and the email showing the amount. He tells me that the computer wants to refund me $99. Then says âThis is why I hate my job.â He then says he thinks part of my total is shipping and they donât refund shipping and I say âNoâŚshipping was free. The shoe was $130.â He rolls his eyes and says âShipping isnât free. We donât do free shipping.â Whole time, Iâm not having an attitude or anything. Itâs just awkward. He calls his manager. The manager I could hear him talking. He tells him no worries just override and refund. I show him where I had free shipping. Iâm a FLX member. Anyway. I got my refund but, I give it a 1 on customer service and a 10 for the manager...
