Natural Health Organic Foods — Attraction in Cape Girardeau

Being a supporter of small business(es), and a rather health-conscious person, it had been my inclination & choosing to shop at this store, many times before. And despite repeated poor customer service, and even poorer product placement/availability, still, I had given it my time and business - too much so!

Clearly, this store and its owners (Mike & Becky) have quite different values and/or priorities than I do.

I will quite happily take my business elsewhere. 🙂

P.S. Interesting it is the follow-up my review received: Their response was rather fitting and not in the least surprising, all things considered. And especially after reading another disappointed customer's negative review of their store, and their "canned response". I can see how "open" they are to critique and hearing/reading a less than pleased customer address real issues in their store and with their business practice(s).

Good luck to them with their little mom-and-pop store! In today's economy and state of business affairs, they're going to need it, especially if they're intending or attempting...

Today was the worst experience I had today 3 women did not give me good customer service it was the worst I was feeling like if I was white they would of treated me better I was trying to get their attention but couldn't so I asked a white lady who had her child to get their attention they turned around quick for her then 1 lady came over I told the other customer thank you we both wad trying to figure out why they acted deaf then I was looking for oil couldn't find it so I had to stop them from picture watch on their phone to get help then I was needing another product the other rude worker saw me looking an didn't ask me do I need help while she was acting rude so I had to go back to the other rudeworker to get help I told her the other person kept working feeling bad at this point I walked to the front only to move aside so the rude worker to come around me as I checked out the second time only to watch one of the worker to ask a white man how can I help you I clearly needed help I just had operation on my hand wrapped ect why do staff think it's OK to treat...

I made a point that I would visit the store whenever I came into Cape from Carbondale, IL. Their assortment of natural foods, vitamin supplements & other products were varied from those in Carbondale. And they carried the quality NOW brand supplements I preferred. In particular, I was looking for castor oil gel capsules which I only found Now made. The store didn't originally have them but ordered them for me & kept them in stock therafter. Their staff was always professional, helpful & friendly. When I found I couldn't get over to buy my items soon enough then they took my order & payment over the phone & promptly shipped them to me.
