We just returned home after a repeatedly disrupted 7:26 p.m. screening of "Arrival." A group of 5 or 6 middle school age children talked throughout much of the movie, got up and down from their seats, and in and out of the theater. I left the movie to talk to the manager who came back to the theater to tell the kids that they would be asked to leave if they made noise AGAIN...then he left. Another patron may have done the same thing just before I did, as well. After the manager left, the kids began the same disruptive behavior -- though they stopped whenever a theater attendant checked in. Since the movie was near the end, I did not go in search of the manager AGAIN, but spoke to him afterwards. He told me he would have removed the children from the theater if I had notified him a second time that they were disruptive. I told him that I came to the theater to watch a movie, not kids, and that theater monitoring was his job. He asked how he could he know they were disruptive if someone didn't tell him and if his attendants didn't see it. I replied that after I reported how much the children were disturbing us and after he spoke with them to settle down or leave, that he should have reasonably concluded that some sort of disruption was continuing in the theater given that the kids continued to go in and out of the theater through the rest of the movie. The manager apologized and offered me two raincheck tickets. Given his weak response to a known disruption in his theater and failing to resolve the problem for the majority of patrons who were NOT talking, getting up and down and switching seats throughout the movie, I have no intention of returning to this theater. At the very least, this manager could have assigned an attendant to stand at the back of the theater for the remaining 20 or so minutes of the movie. After all, many attendants were just standing around outside of the theaters when I came out to complain to the manager. It was telling that these same middle schoolers came out of the theater behaving as loudly and disruptively as they were inside the theater (e.g. knocking over a sign while horsing around) and the manager, who had gone back behind the popcorn counter yet remained visible, did nothing. Clearly this theater does NOT value patrons who wish to see AND hear the movies they pay admission to. It was a ruined evening at the theater for my...
Read moreI honestly wish I could leave a better rating for this theater, because it is very nice. It's kept fairly clean and the seating is great. But I unfortunately have to dock a couple stars due to some bad experiences we've had more recently.
Both tonight and a couple months ago, we ended up next to groups of kids that were loud and obnoxious throughout the entire movie we were watching. Tonight was especially bad, and I'm not sure how they were even allowed in. It was an R rated film and the girls next to us were all clearly in the 13-15 range.
They were yelling out sarcastic responses to what characters were saying, taking selfies, and playing noises on their phones throughout the duration of the film. And they got up and walked in and out of the row at least 3 times over the course of the 2 hours we were there.
About halfway through the movie, I finally decided it needed addressed. I went out and informed an employee about the girls... and was told that they would take care of it. But nothing was done. And the girls continued goofing off for the rest of the movie. Other people watching also began to become audibly upset behind us. But that didn't stop them.
I walked up to the counter and mentioned it again on our way out after the movie ended, and was basically just told "sorry". The employee I talked to said he checked on the girls several times but I know he didn't, as we were sitting directly next to them and not a single employee came to our row. So at most, he peeked his head in and walked back out.
The fact that this happened the last two times we visited this theater is honestly a shame. Because it's a really nice theater in pretty much every other area. But it seems like once they have your money, they don't care about your...
Read moreDisappointed. My girlfriend and I enjoy going to this establishment. It’s generally clean and friendly, however today we had an experience that was entirely unacceptable. There was a little bit of a line when we first walked in for Avengers: End Game, no big deal. A lady and her two sons cut us in the line entirely, no big deal. We approach the counter to a gentleman with several rings on to purchase tickets for the 3:45 show as well as popcorn and drinks. All is well, we get our sits and wait for the movie to start. The lady who cut us in the line and who remained in line after we are seated comes in stating we have her seats. An employee, the same one we bought our tickets from, comes to check our tickets. He tells us we have them for the wrong day and questions where we got these tickets. He escorts us out of the theatre and states that we can have seats that are separate from each other in the front row. I asked why we couldn’t have the seats previously bc he messed up, he says the lady bought them before us. Untrue. So we ask, we bought our refreshments already and tickets, what now, and we were told to do whatever we want with them in a snarky tone. We were not offered a refund, instead we were pushed into another showing in handicap seating. Overall the customer service was very poor, and unorganized. Simply...
