Costa Azul Winery — Attraction in Carlsbad

We had a very lovely experience at this place. Friendly customer service, casual atmosphere and most importantly very fine wines. We want to get a bottle of every glass we tasted. This winery is a hidden gem tucked away in Carlsbad. This is a nice and cozy winery with beautiful and various seating areas. We tried their Pino Noir freshly poured from the wine barrel! It's fresh, light, and creamy with a hint of sweetness and fruitiness, delicious taste. And we also tried their Merlot, which is so good, full-bodied, and with delicious earthy notes

I hate to break the chain of 5 star reviews but I must. I love wine bars and was excited to learn about this one. First impression...a smell?? Perfume or scented candle? Turns out candle. Hard to smell what's in the glass. Next...red wine served at room temperature...75 to 80 today. Not good. Last...cage fighting on the television. Really???
