We checked in about dinner time and they were already booked so we couldn't request a better location. We ended up with the view of walls from our only corner window and was right next to the elevator. Then comes bedtime, there was no way of getting uninterrupted sleep despite how tired we were from our drive from AZ. Every time the A/C turned on you'd hear it high pitch screeching sound and when it turns off, it'll screech even louder and rattle. The fan must be bent or scraping against something. And of course it would do it throughout the night. We pretty much had no sleep. We brought it to the attention of the attendant at the breakfast area, she was very helpful and advised me that she will let the front desk know so they can get the maintenance to check on it. We already had our day planned and had to leave and figured they would call my cell phone if no one opened the door when they knocked or if no one answered the room phone. Never received a call at all. When we got back from our activities in the evening, both room keys didn't work. Went to the front desk and asked them to rekey and also inquired about the a/c situation. Jose mentioned that he doesn't see any notes on our profile and unfortunately the maintenance left at 430pm. I asked if there is anything they could do and said unfortunately we can't move you into a different room because we are at 100%. They offered to have a different attendant named Oggie who may be able to check it out and see if it can be fixed. Oggie showed up within 10 mins and stated that he cannot fix the issue because the way it sounds, it's definitely going to need an A/C guy to fix it. He said he'll relay the message to front desk and they'll call to update. An hour and a half later, no call, and we wanted to go to bed, so I called front desk and asked for an update. They said they called third party AC guy and they have not heard back and since it was already 11pm he didn't think that they'll come this evening. So I asked, what can you do for us and he just said unfortunately I'm not a supervisor and I don't have authority to do a whole lot. He did repeat that he can't move us to a different room because they're fully booked. He did say that the supervisor Jessie was going to be in at 7am and will leave a note for her so that she can take care of us. Not sure what will take place in the morning but I hope that they will be fair with us. We have another 7 hr drive back to AZ, and driving without sleep isn't good. Will have a follow-up review once we speak to Jessie in the mroning. But so far, we have not been pleased...

Read moreMy wife and I Vicki and William checked in Friday September 20th the next morning the 21st we were sitting by the pool 14 minutes before breakfast started and a gentleman named Gerald came and started shouting at us told us we could not be in the pool area at all we had to go back to our room and wait 11 minutes. He then proceeded to tell us because we asked about the outdoor barbecue grills by the pool he informed us right then and there that the pool and the outdoor barbecue grills were for the guest timeshare only. We came for our wedding anniversary which he totally ruined my wife was crying very upset because we could not use the pool or the outdoor barbecue grills which upset her because we had stopped at a meat market in Oceanside to buy a couple of good steaks we ended up having to toss them out. We feel that the tamarack should change all their signs outside of the rooms letting regular guests know they are not allowed to use anything around the pool or the pool also change your website there are no outdoor signs that tells people any of this information. We paid more than $2,000 dollars for a one-week stay which your employee Gerald ruined for my wife and I that's a lot of money to spend at a resort that you cannot use the pool or anything near the pool you may want to state that in the future. We feel the tamarack management owes us another week at no charge with an apology. We try to contact the main manager whose name is Tony we have a card with his email address but it does not accept personal emails from the general public you may want to fix that problem also how can you report a problem to the manager when their email blocks to public? We came there for our wedding anniversary and when we found out that we could not cook our dinner that was thrown in the garbage what a waste of our hard-earned money. So beware if you are staying at this resort call to ask questions first like can you use the pool? Can you use their barbecue? And they will tell you no like they told us. What a waste of $2,000 dollars for a wedding...
