This is a historical location and I love history! beautiful rose garden...when you go, you will be surrounded by 🦋 and 🕊️ Great for everyone! If you enjoy a picnic, this is a great place, the grass is perfect for sitting down and walking barefoot. The beach entrance is a few feet away and Starbucks at about a block away. The Audubon society is nearby and open now for bird watching. Also, the St Michaels church is is across the street. it's an old church that is open and the staff is ready to share its story. You will find the village at walking distance. If you like to learn about history and sightseeing, this is the perfect spot to spend the afternoon without a lot of walking

I stumbled upon this park accidentally, and I'm so glad I did! This park is so cute, beautiful, and well kept. The landscapers were there on a Friday afternoon, working on the rose garden. The grass is green and trimmed, there are beautiful old trees and flowers, event halls, and pretty clean restrooms. The entire park is wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible bathrooms. This is a cute place to relax, but definitely be aware that there are homeless folks who sleep here, and one of them (in the back of the park) was yelling to herself.

Pretty park near the beach. No views of the water but nice shade + grass mix. Picnic benches and a public restroom. I would love do yoga hear one morning! 🌻 Follow our podcast “Hop to it, Our Digital Nomad Journey” by the alchemist and the shaman. We hop from city to city on their journey to find home. Leaving reviews along the way.

Great park. It is an almost beach front park with a public restroom, but the landscaping is well cared for and the tables and gazebo are nice and clean. There was a Toastmasters meeting in session when I stopped for lunch and perhaps one transient person wandering by, but overall this is what I love about Carlsbad. It is beautiful! We parked here and used the stairs for a long walk in the sand and a quick swim in the ocean before heading back to the park for a quick change in the restroom and a light lunch on the tables near the gazebo. I will definitely be back. In fact, Maybe I should delete this review and keep this park as my own...
