GONZO! — Restaurant in Carlsbad

The workers at this place were very rude! As soon as we walked in, the staff were harassing my family! While my wife was looking at the menu by the cashier, I was sitting at the table with our toddler and the staff kept coming over saying that since my wife had not order Yet that I needed to remove myself and my son from the table because we are not customers yet. My son was babbling and the worker walks up to me and tells me to sit outside during the night with my son because it was bothering all the customers, it was one lady that complained and she was in the other side of the store, the people sitting next to us said it was not bothering them! Thank goodness we decided to leave because we went to Harumama Noodles + buns, it was in the next block, and that place was thousand time better and staff were friendly! Had an awesome time at Gonzo in Oceanside thanks to the incredible energy from Egypt and Koo! Egypt, the server/bouncer, was not only professional but brought great vibes to the entire experience—super friendly, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome and safe. Koo behind the bar was just as great, keeping drinks flowing with a smile and matching that same positive energy.

This place is really not kid-friendly! The moment we arrived we kept getting harassed! Even though they kept complaining about the children bothering other customers, which they weren’t, not sure if it was really the children or because we were Hispanics! One white lady customer came up to us and the manager saying that we are bothering her, we were not even there for 5 minutes! We were a party of 15 trying to celebrate a birthday there, but I guess they rather lose 15 customers instead of one. Honestly, there are better ramen out there...
