Smart & Final Extra! — Attraction in Carpinteria

All I could think of when going through this store is "poor Carpinteria!... What happened to it? This location should showcase a higher end market like Vons when it used to be there. The store was dirty and presentation sad looking. Not good, but not the worst. It's not the place I would ever want to go shopping at for extended periods of time. If your in carpenteria you only have two options, to go to smart and final extra or go to albertsons. The albertsons is pretty bad, everything is over priced and there's no cheap alternatives. Then of course you have the smart and final but they are missing quite a few common items and their store is horribly organized. I couldn't even find eggs. I went to Smart and Final to look for Cup4Cup gluten free flour. I thought it was a hopeless trip, but the nearby health food site didn't have that brand and my friend offered to make me a loaf of gluten free bread. So the brand mattered. S & F had it.
