i absolutely love this farmers market, i come here every saturday morning!! great selection and friendly people, there's usually live music too :) gets very busy once it hits 10am though, and parking gets more difficult. as other reviewers have said, turnover is relatively quick for the lots right by the market but there are more municipal lots a few minutes walk away that are sometimes quicker to park in.
also, about the no-dogs policy, there are actually 7 (that i've counted) very visible signs in the market saying "no dogs during market hours"! three hung from the ceiling under both of the covered areas (which can be seen in the photos people have added in other reviews), and another at eye level right next to the main entrance with the "Home of the Carrboro Farmers' Market" sign. additionally, on the front page of their website below the "hours" link is another note about no dogs during the market. please remember to check what the policies are before you bring your...

The vegetable selections are wonderful. always way more than what I’m looking for. The bakery & sweets vendors products are delicious. There are flower vendors as well as some plants. From honey & nuts to meats/seafood & cheeses. There is a bit of a parking lot, but many times we park down the street and walk to it. They have coffee/tea vendor which is great to get my 1st cup of the day. FYI no dogs allowed on...
