I have to say that I'm very disappointed in the service I received today. I paid $31 for a pedicure and an extra $17 for gel polish on my toes that bubbled up before I made it home. Even though I had an appointment, I was rushed from the time I walked through the door. I wasn't allowed time to select colors because I was being rushed to the pedicure chair. Also, the nail tech that did my SNS manicure was down right rude and argumentative. The nail on my right index finger was very obviously crooked and when I asked that it be fixed she got very defensive and stated it was because of the shape of my nail bed! What?! I have had my nails done for years and I assure you my nail bed was not the issue! After going back and forth with her, she finally added more SNS to the inside corner which helped to straighten the nail. She then argued with me when I asked that she top my SNS with a gel coat stating "we don't put gel on SNS because it peels off". I told her that I always get a top gel coat when I come to Emmy and it has never peeled and I wanted it done today. This was the only unpleasant experience I've had an Emmy in the two years that I've been going to their salon, but between the rude/argumentative nail tech and the botched gel polish on my pedicure I believe its time to take my business elsewhere. I used to go to ct nails but after awhile they started over charging and the quality of their service went way down. Then I began going to lucky star but my nails and feet were never done right. I saw this place and decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. Kevin did my nails and has done them ever since. He is amazing and as soon as I sat down I instantly felt welcomed and that's rare for a nail salon in this town. My nails looked AMAZING. The price was AMAZING. I normally wait to get a fill in when I try a new place, just to see how ling the nails last. Ct nails I had to go exactly 2 weeks for a fill because they lift so bad I would get hair stuck just running my hands in my hair. Lucky star was about a week and a half and I had to get a fill in . It's been a month since having my nails done and my nails have still yet to lift. Kevin did great. Also, I tried the pedicure. Very well worth it. The lady didn't speak English very well but she knows what she's doing! This place is clean and very well kept. The workers here are absolutely perfect and the prices...

I really like how clean this place is. Love that they use sanitized tools and even have a bag that covers the foot bath sink...that part is great!! My main complaint is the inability to communicate with the people who are working on your feet/hands... When asked, "you want nails cut??" I replied, yes but DONOT cut short, only trim back to shortest of the nails. My nails are finally grown out to my perfect lenght"... She CUT my nails off!! Way too short! Then I told her as I took my debit card out that I'd prefer to go ahead and pay BEFORE she painted my nails so I would not mess them up by replacing my card or having to sign. She shook her head as if she understood and then just continued to paint them... And yes, I totally messed them up when attempting to sign the ticket and replace card back in my purse. Great place, great people, but would love if they could communicate better with the client to better understand. Also, allow customer to pay before painting the nails...only...
